Military Weapon Causes Annual Bird Kill From Arkansas Sky?

For the second New Years Day in a row, dead black birds have fallen from the sky in the town of Beebe, Arkansas. And again, the press seems eerily quiet on the matter while officials predictably again blame ‘fireworks.’ As I wrote extensively on this happening last year, I could not resist commenting on the matter again today.

Last year, State of Arkansas fish and game officials reportedly stated that the deaths of the birds were due to the birds’ impact with the ground. So, something apparently did cause the birds to become disorientated during the night such that they would leave their roost and fly immediately to their deaths by colliding with the ground.

Again this year and par for the course of apparent disinformation, officials seem quick to blame fireworks for the deaths of the blackbirds yesterday – even though the town of Beebe reportedly imposed a moratorium on fireworks as soon as the birds started falling to their deaths. What’s more, if fireworks were to cause the mass deaths of birds, it would seem that upon returning from every Fourth of July celebration in the nation WE would have to dodge the never-ending collection of dead birds on the streets and sidewalks of our towns. So fireworks as the cause of the current birdkill sounds like a bullshit excuse of disinformation, in my opinion.

Oddly enough, no one is questioning the large object (or magnetic disturbance) reportedly detected on radar over the town of Beebe during the time immediately prior to the beginning of the birds’ final flights – flights which ended with the deaths of the birds upon collision with the earth below them. Even more odd, only an Australian newspaper (and maybe one other) reported on one eyewitness from Beebe who mentioned that for whatever reason he had his magnetic compass out when the carnage began and the compass spun in circles and was unable to find magnetic north. (See link and quote from The Australian below.) Furthermore, WE are now aware how many birds have internal compasses as part of their innate navigation system.

As such, WE can surely surmise that this latest birdkill is again the likely result of some magnetic weaponry being tested or utilized by the death-mongers of the war machine. In other words, the bird kills are a likely result of the Defense Department testing a new weapon which appears to be magnetic in nature. As one that worked for these type of war-mongers for nearly fifteen years, I can tell you that they often like to test their weaponry at unusual times of day and at unusual days on the calendar as well with the apparent prevailing thoughts being that if the general public is distracted with some other goings on, the public may not notice the strange happenings associated with any weapons testing. From my first-hand experience as a prior employee of DoD, I can also attest the fact that the individuals connected to the Defense Department will habitually tell any bold-faced lies to anyone if the lies are perceived to better the ends of the liar or the Defense Department. And, of course, WE are all aware of the potential for the war machine to test its weaponry on innocent and unsuspecting civilians anywhere on the globe. Ultimately, those who hold themselves above the law seem commonplace at nearly all levels within DoD.

As WE will likely never know the truth of this matter because the government-empowered Defense Department and those who work for it put their own agenda and needs above any concerns for the Taxpayers and above the welfare of the general public, in the end and as to the bigger picture, this matter again seems to show WE can not rely on our press to report the whole truth, WE can not rely on our Defense Departments to be honest, nor can WE seem to trust our governments to be forthright on any level.

Okay..., Okay. Let me a step back in light of the increasing numbers of news stories on this birdkill. Even if my distaste for those that endeavor to build weapons to kill people has colored my objectivity on this matter and even if my condemnation of the bastion of lawlessness that often is DoD has influenced my analysis of this latest birdkill in Beebe, if it were merely fireworks that caused the birdkill, why had it not happened every year prior to last New Year’s Day? Why have no locals from Beebe mentioned any massive blackbird-kills that would have accompanied every prior New Year’s celebration wherein fireworks must have also appeared as commonplace? And, finally, if in fact some creep intentionally and unlawfully set-out to recreate (or try to debunk) the massive birdkill of last year with fireworks this year, why did so few a number die this year when, as is currently being reported, such a birdkill was an intentional act? In other words, any intentional act from this year to incite a massive birdkill with such comparatively small results only makes last year’s birdkill look all the more ominous, in my opinion. Also, what of the massive fish kill and the unusual tornado that also accompanied these events last year?

This matter just amazes me in that it seems WE can not believe any source of information in this matter - least of which being DoD or OUR governments across the land.

Might I again suggest that WE repeal the 11th Amendment to the Constitution and also get rid of the typical money-grubbing sell-outs that we continually elect to run our nation - as well as those who run the departments such as DoD. A Nouveau Tax Collection and Revenue Generating Initiative for California?

From what I hear from a good friend in California, it appears that the nearly financially bankrupt government for the State of California has recently taken upon what seems to be a new initiative in tax collection tactics – at least new to me.

It seems that the Franchise Tax Board (The California State IRS type agency), will take it upon themselves to determine what a citizen should pay in taxes and then will assess a lien/levy against any monies the resident may hold in any bank accounts up to the amount the Tax Board has unilaterally determined that is due from the resident. This unilateral determination and subsequent lien is irrespective of whether the Californian actually owes any taxes or not – which my good friend did not, I know for a fact!

When the detrimented Californian eventually realizes that the Franchise Tax Board has taken the money from his (/her) bank account, the Californian is then forced to wait endlessly on hold on the telephone to speak to a representative of the Franchise Tax Board to determine what exactly has happened. Upon ‘realizing’ or being ‘informed’ that the tax payer owes no money, the Franchise Tax Board then tells the Californian that the money will be refunded, but the Board can not say exactly when the monies will be refunded. And, when the monies are refunded, it will be in the form of a bank check. Meanwhile, the Franchise Tax Board and the government for the State of California then get to ‘sit on’ and control the held money and collect any interest the unjustly held money may generate until the somewhat-robbed Californian eventually cashes the check representing the refunded monies. (Wasn’t there once some type of legal privilege in the recapture of chattels, I wonder?)

Anyway, so I am now curious: How wide spread is this practice in California, anyhow? Is this happening to any significant degree in other states as well, I have to wonder?

For reasons such as the unjust tax lien story as told above in this blog entry, I again state: REPEAL THE ELEVENTH AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. FEDERAL CONSTITUTION. Furthermore, ALSO REPEAL ANY SIMILAR STATE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS OR ANY CODIFICATION THEREOF WHICH MAY IMPART ANY IMMUNITY FROM LEGAL SUITS TO THE GOVERNMENTS ACROSS OUR NATION!! Make the governments liable for wrongdoings currently protected by the Doctrine of Sovereign Immunity – such a doctrine appears as a very bad thing for our health and welfare of our Nation!!

Occupy Protesters: Ignore Labor Unions and New Deal-ists

A few days ago, when the Occupy Los Angeles protesters were facing the first threat of arrest if they did not leave the city hall park they have recently called home, it seemed during the majority of the television news spots highlighting the anticipated show-down that most of the individuals interviewed and causing a ruckus were actually labor union employees. Additionally interviewed on a local L.A. television station was a simpleton wearing a t-shirt with a picture of F.D. Roosevelt. The interviews inspired me to blog a message to the legitimate Occupy protesters and about the hypocrisy of the aforementioned interviewed ‘protesters.’

To any legitimate Occupy protesters I suggest: IGNORE THE LABOR UNIONS AND IGNORE ANY F.D.R. NEW DEAL-ISTS TOO!!!

It surely appears that the nation’s labor unions have done little during the last several decades to help the economic plight of the typical American. As such, the labor union leaders appear even more inept and/or disinterested about the economic difficulties of Americans than the average career politician. The unions seem have to done nothing to prevent the off-shoring of our industries and jobs. The leadership of the unions appear as nothing but a bunch of greedy individuals preaching the benefits of long-term nepotism. Even those union members who appeared to support the Occupy L.A. movement during the recent day of arrests were union workers who most likely took paid vacation or sick leave from their jobs to attend the event – which surely appears as not relevant to the plight of the protesters who cant find jobs and are frustrated by the never-ending nepotism, favoritism, and unjust practices displayed by those in power over recent history.

Then there was the interviewed individual with the New England accent wearing a shirt displaying a picture of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He commented to the news reporter: “yea…, F.D.R, the greatest American and we need another hero like him here now,” - or something like that. Either the individual was a socialist or merely ignorant. Because, clearly it was F.D.R. who allowed the Federal Reserve System to take the reigns of the U.S. government during the last Great Depression of the 1930s. When the Federal Reserve took over the nation’s government, it was thereafter that the banks rose to the level of political power that they now enjoy. So, don’t be fooled by any idiot preaching the benefits of socialism or the New Deal program/theory of the last Great Depression.

We need some level of reform in the nation, yes! We don’t need anyone else to give power to those who were never elected while these same individuals line their own pockets at taxpayer expense all the while preaching how what they do is for the benefit of the populace. Don’t listen to self-serving liars, socialists, or mere idiots that can not even ascertain the truth of history.

11-11-11 Day, Repeal the Eleventh Amendment, I say!

On this eleventh day of the eleventh month of the eleventh year, November 11th, 2011, I say:

REPEAL THE ELEVENTH AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL CONSTITUTION.

The beauty and simplicity of the U.S. Federal Constitution and its associated Bill of Rights, is quite remarkable. At no time in history has such a significant document for mankind ever been duplicated and it is unlikely that at any time in the future will such a document be rivaled. Additionally, it is also unlikely that such a group of intelligent men in positions of power as the Founding Fathers and the Framers of the Constitution, who had the wealth and the resources of the young U.S. nation at their finger tips merely for their taking, likely will ever again decide that such wealth and power was not Rightfully theirs for the taking and that this new-found wealth, power, freedoms, and even the government itself was properly to be left for, and vested in, the People of the Nation. Of course the men were likely geniuses who had lived in the face Tyranny and were of the mind set to never allow tyranny to rule in the new Nation of the United States of America.

Yet the most beautiful facet as well as its most simple one, is the Constitution's ability to change. And, hence, this is why We still subscribe to the Document to this day! This long-standing Document - with its ability to change to meet the needs of the Nation - makes the United States of America the longest standing democracy in the world.

Now it appears that at least one more change is necessary:

Ironically, and by comparison, it seems nearly blasphemous that the first follow-on amendment ever added to the spectacular U.S. Federal Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the Eleventh Amendment, would so hideously display the more natural inclination of those in positions of power in that it invoked sovereign immunity for the governments of the U.S. Nation. (That is, immunity from law suits, particularly on a Federal level. For instance it is unlikely that a lone, individual citizen could sue a state government in Federal court.) Because, up until the point in time that was the Eleventh Amendment, the Constitution had granted and vested in the American People the Rights of a Sovereign (essentially). Then, at the first sign of any possible trouble, i.e.: the state governments might actually have to pay their outstanding debts and could be held legally accountable for any outstanding debts (say, accountable in a Federal court), those actors who more-or-less amounted the first congressional replacement crew taking the reigns of government from the Framers of the Constitution decided to grant sovereign immunity to the governments of the land – as if the governments had now become King.* That is to say, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights originally granted Sovereign status (and the government) to the People**. Then, reality or fear or something set in and the U.S. government officials in Congress decided to grant King-type status to itself and the States of the Nation.

The Eleventh Amendment, as I have attempted to explain above, was clearly opposed to the spirit of the Constitution and its Bill of Rights. By the time the Eleventh Amendment was ratified, unfortunately, many of the Framers and original signatories of the Constitution had left the Federal government – apparently deciding that to stay in power for more than a few years would amount to a new class of nobility (hear that, modern-day career politicians?). Obviously, those of the replacement crew were more concerned for the welfare of the governments than for the welfare of the People of the Nation – as evidenced by their ratification of the Eleventh Amendment.

At sometime during the early 1800s, U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Marshall informed the governments that they were liable in equity (and Law per Article III section 2) nevertheless and in spite of the garbage spewed forth under the guise of the Eleventh Amendment. Not surprisingly, the courts within the United States have never since referred to that decision. (Can we see a trend forming here?) The Eleventh Amendment itself experienced a delay of proclamation “…because of delays that occurred in certifying the ratification.” I would put forth that such a delay was due to the fact that Congress of that time knew well that the Eleventh Amendment was contrary to spirit and contrary to nearly every aspect of the Federal Constitution. Such would surely seem to have been an embarrassment to all involved. (The amendment was ratified in February of 1795 but not proclaimed until 1798.)

So, on this day of 11-11-11, November 11th, 2011, the time is now at hand to rid the Nation of this hypocrisy that is the Eleventh Amendment to the U.S. Federal Constitution. As are the Peoples and corporations (to a lesser extent) of the nation liable for their misgivings, mistakes, and wrongful behavior, it is time to make the governments of our land live up to these same standards and make them responsible for the wrongs of government as well. That is to say, get rid of the document (amendment) that allows the governments to act without reproach: RID THE NATION OF THE ELEVENTH AMENDMENT TO THE FEDERAL CONSTITUTION!!!!!! MAKE THE GOVERNMENTS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS, BEHAVIOR, AND INEPTITUDE!!! (I firmly believe such would make Chief Justice Marshall proud.)

Renegade U.S. Military Death Squad Leader Convicted

November 11th, 2011 – Veterans Day.

The military is an odd entity. It first must judge a recruit to have enough moral character to know that killing is wrong and immoral. Then it trains the recruit how to follow orders and how to best kill when ordered. The military then sends the recruit to some foreign and hostile area of conflict and the recruit is told to kill whenever necessary for offensive or defensive purposes. The military then seems shocked when a few sociopaths make it to the front lines of combat.

In the end, I don’t understand how it is that so many of our combat troops reportedly degenerate to the point that they believe themselves above the law and seem to feel the need to play God – either for the ‘success of the mission,’ for survival of themselves and comrades, or even for sport – as the case is reported to be here.

Ultimately, all I really know is that I am tired of seeing troops sent into a ‘theater of conflict’ only to subsequently return home as criminals. I mean…, if the military can not prevent the urge or necessity (or whatever) of these individuals to play God or prevent these individuals from feeling the apparent necessity of indiscriminately killing seemingly innocent civilians for the protection of themselves and fellow soldiers (or for whatever the reason), then maybe our troops should not be there at all – certainly not at U.S. taxpayer expense, in my opinion.

Bottom line is this: WE DON’T EVEN NEED PEOPLE TO FIGHT OUR WARS ANYMORE!!!!! So, why send our troops into combat if any are going to return home as convicted murderers and criminals? JUST LET THOSE CRUISE MISSILES FLY!!! The cost of the cruise missile stockpile is surely a sunk cost for the taxpayer anyhow. So, why increase the cost to our society and to the taxpayer by sending our troops into combat if any of them will returning home only to be further housed at taxpayer expense in Leavenworth Federal Prison – or wherever? Isn’t a billion dollars a day for the fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq enough of a cost already?

Besides, I would have to think that much of the U.S, nation has now become in tune with the likely reason we are really fighting in Afghanistan: to control the gold, lithium, and other rare-earth metals present in that land. So, that being said, such is all the more reason to let the cruise missiles fly: pulverize the crap out of those hills so it will be all the easier for corporate America (and the likes) to come in and sweep up the gold, lithium, and whatever other rare-earth metals are present in those hills to such an extent that we would risk the lives of thousands of our countrymen to control – not to mention trillions of our dollars. No doubt, one cruise missile can do the work of a lot of steam shovels anyhow, right?

Maybe DoD would be better served to hire me as a consultant than to pay the hundreds of millions of dollars every month in salaries to the Pentagon Brass. I would probably do a better job obtaining the ‘nation’s goals’ with less ‘collateral damage’ and less societal costs to America and to the world as a whole.

Well, anyway, at least we can be proud that the U.S. military doesn’t stand for just any killings of innocents in the field. Regardless, We owe it to our veterans who fought and died for our Rights to further the cause of Justice wherever We are able.

It is interesting that at this point in time the Federal Reserve, SEC, Comptroller of the Treasury, and the FDIC have all reportedly supported an effort to curtail the investment activities of the nation’s banks. The Volcker Rule reportedly aims to prevent the banks from investing for their own benefit (proprietary trades) and the Rule is to allow the banks only to invest funds in the markets on behalf of clients – with some exceptions, of course. The Rule is part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act; with the Act totaling 848 pages, http://www.sec.gov/about/laws/wallstreetreform-cpa.pdf - see page 245 for the Volcker Rule. Whether such a plan as the Volcker Rule (and maybe the banking act in general) has any worthwhile effects to benefit the American nation and its people is anyone’s guess and only time will tell.

One can surmise that the aforementioned government-type* entities have supported such an effort as the Volcker Rule to force the banks into lending money to consumers and businesses again – just like the banks of yesteryear. The Dodd-Frank Act, with its Volcker Act, also claims to be an attempt to head off future credit crises, should a recovery ever materialize from the current crisis. However, one must wonder why the SEC, the FDIC, the Comptroller, and the nation’s favored private banking cartel (the national bank we call the Fed*) did not assert such a plan when the banks were given trillions of tax dollars over the last several years.

We are all well aware of the potential of our often inept governments across the land – when taking any action – to make any given situation worse. As such, one can only wonder what may result from the current initiatives. For example, it would seem that to quash the profits of the nation’s banks via the Volcker Rule (or whatever) would only incite the banks to squeeze the consumer for more banking related fees – or any other fees the banks can dream up to increase their profits. Such a goal of squeezing customers for more money may well have been the impetus behind the recently proposed fee increases and charges for purchases made with bank issued debit cards (which the banks appeared to have abandoned as a result of public outcry concerning the topic), and such abandoned efforts may have been a result of the upcoming banking regulations.

Hypothetically, maybe the outlook from this legislation is not entirely bleak. Though not very likely, the Volcker Rule effort could cause the wealthy banks to gather the required gumption to legally challenge the constitutionality of the Federal Reserve System. If so, in the end, the Volcker Rule could lead to an actual win-win situation for the American consumer. Though given our government’s apparent favoritism with respect to the nation’s banks, it would seem not wise to anticipate any significant benefits to the consumer from our government or any other entity which has been sleeping with the banks throughout our nation’s history.

At best, maybe the apropos cliché is: ‘better late than never.’ Either way, this latest effort of the government entities and the Fed seems to conjure up another cliché, something like: ‘the fox closing the door to the hen house after all the chickens have been eaten.’

The on-going and growing Wall Street protests in NYC, which claim to be against corporate greed and against financial and banking sector excesses/corruptions, have now begun to form in Los Angeles as well. I would certainly be among the first to tell you that the policies of our inept governments have facilitated and enabled – if not essentially mandated – the apparently unjust excesses and absurdities repeatedly seen on the corporate level in our nation while ‘average’ Americans have been left on the sidelines unemployed during this latest Great Depression of the New Millennium. However, as I know little about these protesters or of their true demands/wants, let’s hope that their cause is just, genuine, and forthright as they claim and not merely another orchestrated political ruse for whatever the reason. I mean…, who knows, maybe these protesters can eventually effect worthwhile change where many of their baby-boomer grandparents’/parents’ generation dropped the ball and sold-out to the greed which has forever since maintained its strangle-hold grip our nation.

Central Banks Only Cause the World’s Economic Problems, Not Solve Them.

According to Bloomberg News, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Narayana Kocherlakota stated: “Central bankers alone cannot solve the world’s economic problems.” One thing WE citizens all can be sure of, however, is that Central Bankers alone can cause the world’s economic problems – and seem to do so with the blessing of national politicians who typically appear as nothing more than lackeys and errand boys of the central banks, of course.

The Federal Reserve System has enabled and brought about the devaluation of the U.S. Dollar/Federal Reserve Note. The massive devaluation of the U.S. currency is readily evidenced by the all-time-high dollar value of gold. (The Fed holds much of the nation’s gold – worth noting.) Also, the massive devaluation of the fiat dollar helped to cause the real estate bubble. The massive devaluation of the dollar clearly has caused the difficulty with the U.S. Bond – its rating and down-grading. So without a doubt, the central banks – or at least the Federal Reserve System – can and have caused the world’s current economic problems.

Fed to Hold Interest Rates Steady and Low – Fed Appears as Stupid and Slow!

While the nation is in the throws of the Great Depression [and liquidity trap] of the New Millennium and with the recent [and probably long overdue] down-grading of U.S Government bonds, The Federal Reserve announced its plan to hold interest at all-time-low rates for two years. While history debatably has shown that lower interest rates during economic down-turns helps to increase dollars in the marketplace to spur economic growth, the present circumstances seem unlike anything in the nation’s history.

The Federal Reserve – while claiming to be acting in the nation’s interest – is quick to keep more and more dollars in the marketplace as this apparently allows the Fed to continue to ‘have its cake and eat it too.’ What I mean by such a statement is that the Fed clearly has a long-standing policy which includes the massive devaluation of the U.S. Dollar/Federal Reserve Note for any number of reasons of which I repeatedly have blogged. Now the Fed can try to flood more dollars into the marketplace through lower interest rates in a claimed attempt to help grow the economy out of this depression while also further devaluing the Dollar which appears as what the Fed has wanted for years. And, of course, it is likely the extremely devalued Dollar has led to this latest Great Depression [and liquidity trap]. This announced and extended low interest effort probably will be fruitless anyhow as the banks seem unwilling to lend money. In the end, Citizens should seek to understand why the Fed desires to appear as helping the nation while, in fact, it ultimately will continue its long-standing policy regime that has surely led us to this Great Depression [and liquidity trap] of the New Millennium – again, such a regime which includes as its cornerstone the extreme devaluation of the U.S. Dollar/Federal Reserve Note.

To continue along the same economic path that the Fed has invoked in the past and which likely caused the current economic difficulties surely seems foolish – in my opinion. So foolish does the policy regime of the Federal Reserve seem that it would appear that President Obama would do better to hire me as Treasury Secretary than to allow the Fed to do its own bidding and to continue its current policy regime with the apparent blessing of the Administration and Treasury Secretary Geithner (a Secretary who appears no more than as a mouthpiece for the Federal Reserve). Why do I say this? Read on….

What should the Federal Reserve System be doing in the midst of the Great Depression [and liquidity trap] of the New Millennium to help the nation? Well…, I think I know what they should be doing during this liquidity trap which has maintained this economic depression and I have blogged about my ideas in the past. Furthermore, without any doubt, I believe the nation would be better served to ‘Shred the [unconstitutional] Fed.’ The apparent fact remains, however, that the nation’s politicians are unwilling to ‘buck’ the all-mighty Federal Reserve System. (Ask me why, if you don’t think you know already.)

Of course, I am aware that no one may really understand how the nation’s and world’s economies function and interact. Regardless, in light of the Federal Reserve’s recent track record there appears one thing that we can all be sure of, such being that the nation would be in a better position economically if the Federal Reserve was to do exactly the opposite of what it thinks is best!!! Again, why do I say this? Because, given a liquidity trap compounded by an ever-devaluing Dollar, the low bond rates are the likely source of the economic problem!!! At the risk of sounding as arrogant as the Federal Reserve and our nation’s politicians, I find it odd that one such as I would even believe it necessary to explain such an issue to the fat-cats of the Federal Reserve that run and own our nation and its economy!!! As a result, I believe it is clear that The Federal Reserve and all those that endlessly support the Federal Reserve System are either stupid, in denial, or really don’t care about the welfare of the nation and its populace! It is clear at this point in time that the Fed doesn’t know what to do or doesn’t want to do as it should to fix the nation’s and world’s current economic mess.

To blog is different from other types of writings. As books and the likes are often called ‘living documents,’ a blog is much more so. While I personally make a reasonable attempt to not significantly change any of my writings after I publish them on-line, a blog often invites the author to revisit and reassess the subject matter of the writing long after it is initially written. As republishing any blog is as simple as a computer click, blogs may often evolve and change with the passage of time – whether such changes are readily apparent to any reader or not. Obviously then, editing a blog can occur at anytime after it is initially published and no addendum or new edition is ever required – so blogs typically can be considerably different entities than writings in a printed format.

U.S. Federal Government Debt Difficulties? What Should a Citizen Do?

To me, solving the long and short-term financial debt levels of the U.S. Federal government appears as an easy-fix. In my opinion, the debt levels could be drastically reduced while government agencies maintained sufficient funding to perform their required functions and no tax increases would be necessary. However, OUR nation’s governments and the politicians who populate those entities seem unable to recognize how to concurrently attain these goals – goals which may seem as a dichotomy to those blinded by long-standing and unnecessary government paradigms.

With our politicians and governments seeming as ignorant or as maintaining motives for not solving the nation’s economic difficulties, the American Citizen is then left in a quandary. Should the Citizen denounce and reject the U.S. [Federal] government, its politicians, and its typical way of business, or should the Citizen demand action within the allowances of nation’s current framework to rectify the many ills of the nation’s on-going economic problems? Essentially, I would tend to the latter choice and some combination of the following actions/changes within the nation's framework are what I would offer as demands to help to bring back the overall economic well-being of the Citizenry – in keeping with our nation’s current framework which allows for such changes:

FIRST, the Citizenry should DEMAND THE REPEAL OF THE ELEVENTH (11th) AMENDMENT to the U.S. Federal Constitution. The First ten amendments to that sacred document are what WE in America recognize as OUR Bill of Rights. It’s ironic that the first follow-on amendment added to the Constitution – after the first ten – is so opposed to the spirit of the Bill of Rights. The first ten amendments, of course, being brilliantly authored to reflect what is known to be Right and proper. Then along comes the Eleventh Amendment which attempts to do its best to negate much of the first ten amendments when such is applied to a U.S. state or government agency (and its officials) in our Land. By allowing the politicians, officials/bureaucrats, and governments themselves to stand in opposition to what is known to be Right and proper and true, and then for the Constitution to provide a shield from any liability for the governments’ negligence/ignorance, appears as contrary to the American way – with the American way being that WE are accountable for our actions and WE attempt to correct our mistakes. However, there is no denying that the Eleventh Amendment allows for absolute negligence from OUR governments. As they are not liable or held accountable for their actions, the government entities and officials then have little reason to care of negligence or ineptitude, apparently.

The SECOND DEMAND that the American populace should put forward to fix OUR current economic mess, in my opinion, is to DEMAND THE REMOVAL OF ANY POWERS ENUMERATED TO THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM concerning OUR nation’s economic well-being – powers which would appear as improperly/unconstitutionally enumerated from OUR Federal government. Aside from the nation’s current economic mess, even former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan himself stated in his book that the economic boom years of the President Clinton era were a testament to the inability of the Federal Reserve to properly control the nation’s economy. Forgoing his explanation for his statement, such a statement nevertheless shows the Fed is not as all-knowing as it would hope to appear concerning our nation’s economy in spite of having the better part of a century in which to practice its economic operations. So it would seem to this day that the nation would probably be better off without the Fed – as was the nation for much of its history. Whatever the Fed might be doing to better the nation’s economy, such does not appear to be bettering the matter for the nation and the populace. Then again, maybe the Fed does not want to better the economy of the nation – as it is not a government agency, it maintains no fiduciary responsibility to anyone other than itself, nor does this federal/national banking cartel seem to be required to uphold the nation’s Constitution either, as would be required of Federal government employees/entities.

As a possible THIRD DEMAND to be in the best interest of the populace to fix the American nation’s current economic mess, I might suggest that AN INTRINSIC/REAL VALUE BE SET FOR OUR NATIONAL CURRENCY. I am aware that we have all heard (or been told) that a non-fluctuating [U.S.] currency or fixed exchange rate could not function in the modern financial era. Of course, for many years, OUR nation had no nationally recognized/issued paper currency. Once adopted, OUR printed currency then generally maintained a fixed-exchange rate for significant periods of time. Then, long about the 1970’s, or so, the American/U.S. Dollar (or Federal Reserve Note) became a traded commodity – and from the People’s perspective, the nation has slipped down the hill of economic well-being ever since. All the while during the nation's economic slide, the value of the Federal Reserve's gold holdings have likely increased ten-fold. Of course, the currently traded fiat Dollar and its varying exchange rate is essentially managed by the Federal Reserve System (with our dollar also being known as the Federal Reserve Note) – which brings us back to the first two demands as delineated above in this writing.

So again, I would suggest that its time to dump the Federal Reserve System and probably time to repeal the Eleventh (11th) Amendment to the U.S. Federal Constitution as well as fixing OUR currency. I can’t guarantee that these steps will immediately solve all the nation’s economic difficulties nor do I claim that there exists no other valid idea(s) for bettering OUR current economic well-being. However, I could guarantee that such steps/demands as explained above would likely go a long way toward fixing much of the nation’s current economic woes.

In response to yesterday’s tragic and senseless mass-murder and killings in Norway, I regrettably must ask: will we also be seeing similar / continued incidences of mass-murder in the U.S.A. when folks like Mayor Bloomberg and his anti-gun coalition get their wish to prevent the American citizenry from carrying defensive weaponry such as handguns in a manner as such laws seem to suggest in Norway?

Would the sickening mass-murder and killings in Norway have progressed to such an extent if a few individuals in the crowd of innocent victims maintained defensive weapons to end the carnage by returning fire at the violent killer/creep? OF COURSE NOT!

Mayor Bloomberg of New York City, as a U.S. politician who would seem to prefer the American citizenry to remain as individually defenseless against crazed violent creeps as currently appears is the case with the citizens and laws of Norway, I wonder, what say you on this most recent matter of the cowardly mass-murder of the defenseless innocents in that nation? Of course, I am aware that it is much of your apparent anti-gun position that crazed individuals should be denied firearms. But what of the instance where the crazed individual appears no less sane than anyone else? What of the continued theft of guns from governments and armies with those guns landing who-knows-where? Until you are able to obtain your Utopian and idealized world wherein only despots, tyrants, and all-powerful armies have exclusive access to your idealized world’s limited amount of ‘defensive’ firearms, the citizenry must be able to defend themselves against attack from violent creeps who seem able to obtain firearms regardless of any law intended to stop the creeps from obtaining these weapons!

The Law of the bygone Wild,Wild West of yesteryear appears as much more realistic and more effective as well – when it comes to dealing with crazed and violent creeps walking among the law-abiding and decent folk of the world!

The national U.S. economy seems really bad. Where is The Federal Reserve System [/The Fed] and what are they doing about the nation’s current economic situation? As The Federal Reserve System has had the better part of a century to practice running the nation’s economy and while concurrently/potentially owning OUR Federal government, what is the U.S. central bank (who we call ‘The Fed’) doing to make the situation better and to end the on-going “Great Depression of the New Millennium?”

Is The Fed merely inept – as seems most of the national-level, government-type entities which run OUR country? (The Fed is not a government entity, however.) Is The Fed attempting to reduce the U.S. nation to “third world developing nation" status – with The Fed’s endless devaluation of the American Dollar? Or, is The Fed attempting some other clandestine undertaking of which the rest of us are unaware and such an operation requires the concurrent devastation of the “American way of life”– as we are all aware The Fed essentially is not required to answer to anyone for its actions?

I understand attempting to run a nation’s economy has many challenges, no doubt! Nevertheless, the apparent long-standing and on-going policy regime of The Fed currently [and long since] appears as ineffectual at protecting the nation’s economic well-being.

Unless some rational and verifiable excuse exists for the inability of The Federal Reserve System to better the nation’s economic condition – other than an excuse of its own ineptitude, clearly the time is at hand to “SHRED THE FED!!” Surely, the nation’s economy would be better off with no national banking cartel acting as a central bank while said cartel concurrently controls our currency and financial institutions and while this same central bank/cartel (The Fed) routinely seeks “arbitrage opportunities” for itself in addition to claiming no fiduciary responsibility to anyone – seemingly the least of which would include a fiduciary responsibility to the American people and the U.S. nation!

The decision makers in Washington appear to have never actually worked as an employee of the Federal government or don’t understand how the Federal bureaucracy actually spends its money or, for some unknown reason, don’t really want to reduce the Federal debt levels.

While once again having to stare in the face of near-imminent collapse unless it again raises its debt ceiling, the U.S. Federal government and its Law Makers appear at a complete loss of how to curtail the U.S. Federal debt – or as a result of mental deficiencies or loyalties to others rather than to the American people, the politicians/lawmakers simply do not really care to curtail the debt. Clearly, by merely revamping how the government spends its funds allocated to government agencies and contractors, the U.S. Federal government could likely save billions of dollars per fiscal year and could likely do so in a “win-win” manner for all. Changing the way the government spends its money/allocated funds would, most likely, significantly decrease Federal deficits which would in turn significantly reduce the Federal debt.

But then again, the lawmakers in Washington appear to be totally ignorant of where the likely majority of government waste actually exists. Such an ignorance as is currently apparent with the lawmakers could be a result of never having worked as a typical government employee – as many of the lawmakers have surely never worked as a regular government employee and appear to only have had the U.S. Federal government work for them.

Incompetence and Confusion: Federal Reserve to Raise Interest Rates? U.S.Dollar, Liquidity Trap, Inflation, and Savings.

The Federal Reserve System appears as an organization at odds with itself. On one hand it claims no fiduciary responsibility to anyone while on the other hand it claims to be concerned for economic welfare of the United States – while maintaining no apparent or mandated constitutional authority for its power, it should be noted. Furthermore, while employing the most arrogant of economic experts from the nation’s most arrogant of educational institutions, The Fed appears as completely incompetent while knowing no more of how to fix the currently listless U.S. economy than does the average simpleton. Additionally, The Fed appears as an organization which has been dishonest and has lied to the American people for so long that The Fed surely now takes the American public for complete idiots as well, all the while professing to the nation of how it cares for our economic welfare. Now, “A top Federal Reserve official says it is time to raise interest rates to avoid causing inflation and economic problems.” (See WSJ link below for quote source.)

The Fed has completely devalued the dollar to a fraction of its prior value (review the historic price of gold). Such currency devaluation was apparently done for any of several arguable reasons (to compete with cheap labor from other nations, to create a currency war, or most likely, to ‘swindle’ Chinese creditors). Not the least of these possible reasons for devaluing the dollar, it seems, was to artificially increase prices in an attempt to superficially – and by definition – put an end to any current economic depression (by artificially bolstering the U.S. GNP as a result of increased prices due to the devalued dollar) - which would help any politician running for reelection, btw.

As for raising interest rates to alleviate inflation pressures, clearly, the devalued dollar would be the only true driving factor for any increased pressures of inflation – as the majority of the population has long been unemployed or underemployed. Consequently, consumer demand and spending could not be causing any inflation. While some may counter that the increased price of fuel has caused inflation pressures to rise, it is likely that the increased price of fuel is also largely a result of the devalued U.S. Dollar (Federal Reserve Note) – a point which I will show at a future date when I have the time. Additionally, anyone that knows anything about economics knows that our government welcomes inflation for its contracting purposes in addition to its [and The Fed's] apparently concerted seigniorage efforts (see inflation tax, fiat dollar/money, and printing money).

As a testament to the level of fools for which The Fed apparently assumes comprises the majority of the U.S. populace, during the midst of the heightened and escalating devaluation of the Dollar – a devaluation resulting from The Fed’s actions, The Fed now wants the populace to increase its savings (according to the WSJ article below which quotes the head of the K.C. Fed). That is, The Fed apparently wants us to increase our savings levels while it continues to devalue the dollar – as if the U.S. populace could be as stupid as the Chinese creditors to allow the banks to hold our money/wealth while the central bank (The Fed) devalues the money to a level where it is worth less than when the money was put into any savings account. Even the Chinese fools/creditors eventually caught-on to what was happening in that regard. Now The Fed (apparently with no more foreigners around to swindle) expects the average American to be just as stupid as the Chinese had been. And additionally, of course, few Americans have jobs which would allow for saving any money, anyhow. What’s more, as a result of the economic depression, depressed real estate values, and nonexistent demand for workers, many retirement savings of aging Americans has long since been wiped-out – all the while during recent years The Fed maintaining an apparent historic position of desiring any such retirement savings to be invested in the equities markets and not kept in savings accounts.

Nevertheless, I must admit, given the listless U.S. economy and the liquidity trap which appears to have gripped the same, The Fed surely needs to do something different (other than lining its own pockets while increasing the value of its gold reserves which it has done superbly well over recent decades with the devalued dollar). Clearly the U.S. economy is in the throws of a liquidity trap. Few, other than myself – apparently, are even willing to admit the possibility of such a liquidity trap in the U.S. Most probably won’t admit such a possibility because they fear reprisals and retribution for stating such from the all-powerful Federal Reserve System and its government lackeys. When corporations pursue capital investments in infrastructure, for example, such typically increases the need for workers (which is a good thing). However, when corporations make these capital investments – say in new facilities, they typically secure bonds to ensure the financing of the capital improvement effort. There in lies the rub and the basis of the liquidity trap as well. Because, when interest rates are at an all time low rate of return (as they are currently), the interest rate ultimately has nowhere to go but up. When one buys a bond at one rate of return and then the rate is increased for new bonds, the value of the bond at the lower rate of return is then worth a lesser face value than when it was purchased. Therefore the holder of that bond at the lower interest rate has now lost money due to the availability of a bond at an increased interest rate. So in other words, no one wants to buy any bonds with such low rates of returns as they currently stand because such would surely be a losing investment to the purchaser of bonds. Furthermore, according to some, increased savings only worsens a liquidity trap – and, in fact, any economics textbook will tell you to throw money at a liquidity trap.

So what is The Fed’s true intent in this matter of seeking increased interest rates? Given its lack of fiduciary responsibility to anyone other than itself and its minimal transparency to observers, it is unlikely that any outsider will ever know what is the true intent of The Federal Reserve System. Given the hold and power The Fed has over our governments and politicians, it is unlikely that our governments and legal establishments will help us in this regard either. To be clear, the Nation's Founding Fathers stood against a national/Federal Bank and included no such allowance for a delegation of financial power/authority to a non-government agency/banking cartel [such as The Federal Reserve System] in our American Nation's Constitution.

Surely, it is probably best to let the economy drive itself rather than to let this banking cartel known as The Federal Reserve System make economic policy. After being in existence for nearly one hundred years, if The Fed has not determined by now what to do during times of economic woes to benefit the nation, what is the point in having it run our money supply and setting monetary and fiscal policy? As such, the time is clearly at hand to “SHRED THE FED”!!!

If I Made the Educational Decisions…. “The Adam Vernon Trotter Experimental Education Program.” (Initial Draft Copy)

If I were the official making educational decisions for any affluent/middle to upper middle class township, community, county, or city, I would invite some predetermined number of desirous and deserving underprivileged children/students from a potentially less-affluent nearby community to attend my well-funded school systems. Of course, any such program could be started on an experimental basis and the results could be assessed after a set length of time. As the adoption of county-wide [or the likes] school systems to level the educational opportunities available to all students across economic borders appears as a never materializing non-reality in much of the American nation, such a program as what I put forth herein potentially could provide fantastic returns for all parties involved in the educational effort.

So, as some examples (with no intended offense to any listed community or school system), if I were the Township of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, I would invite say twenty children from nearby Camden to come and attend Cherry Hill High Schools. If I were Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania, I would invite a handful of students from Philadelphia. Garden City, New York, could invite some children from Hempstead. Andover, Massachusetts, could take on some students from nearby Lawrence. And, Palos Verdes and Torrance, California, could educate some students from South/South-Central Los Angeles. This list of cities is merely meant to delineate a few examples, of course; but the list could go on endlessly throughout the states of our nation.

For this type of ‘experimental’ educational program, some simplistic application process could be developed which could then be followed by a lottery to determine which students from the less-affluent region were chosen to attend the more-affluent region’s school systems. If it were up to me, I would provide free transportation from a set location to the destination school. The states of the schools could maybe even help to defray some of the costs for, say, transportation – for starters.

The invited children/students would have to agree to the terms of no truancy, no troublemaking, and the maintaining of a decent/respectable grade-point average. Failing these terms, the child would be replaced by another more desirous underprivileged student. (Additionally, in extreme cases of behavioral difficulties, any severely misguided and dismissed student could even be billed for the costs of the opportunity – just as a penalty to keep everyone honest, so to speak.) This program would have no resemblance to the forced racial ‘busing’ programs of the 1970’s (etc.) – as the students of the subject hypothetical program would want to go to the other school and the students would be welcome in the host school as well.

The envisioned main and stated goal of any such ‘experimental’ educational undertakings would be that any benefits gleaned from these educational opportunities by the students would hopefully be taken back to the underprivileged students’ home neighborhood to help foster an improved educational and business environment in the less-affluent region. While such a program may have some amount of increased initial costs for the host-school communities, it is likely in the long-term that such a program would provide beneficial and even immeasurable returns for all.

And, I mean..., what the heck..., some of the more affluent school systems spend exhorbinant amounts of dollars per capita student. So, what’s the harm to show the benevolence to educate an additional handful of students who may otherwise never have been privy to a better-funded and possibly more-enriched public school educational opportunity as would likely be available in the better-funded school systems? Has it not been said: “Cast your bread upon the waters and it will be returned to you…,” or something to that extent? I think such prophetic logic would apply to this experimental educational program as I hereby propose.

Currently, I am not aware of any existing or on-going educational efforts to undertake such a program to offer higher-quality secondary school educations to underprivileged students as I have described herein – though that does not mean any such programs necessarily do not already exist. However, as I know of no such plan of widespread spreading of the educational wealth in the nation’s public school systems, maybe I will dub this plan as the “Adam Vernon Trotter Experimental Education Program.”

As reported this evening on “CBS Evening News with Katie Couric,” Communist Mainland China (Peoples Republic of China) has continued and increased its detainment of anyone seeking political change or human rights in that nation. Artists, religious figures, and political dissenters have been disappearing as these individuals are regularly taken into police custody with no legal proceedings to justify the detainment. Police beatings have also been on the rise concerning these individuals as well. Harassment of foreign news/media/press reporters is also said to be on the increase. Furthermore, the term ‘Jasmine’ (as in ‘Jasmine Revolution’) has also become taboo/illegal in that nation according to the CBS News report.

The government of Communist Mainland China (Peoples Republic of China) has apparently authorized these actions in an attempt to bolster the communist regime’s stranglehold in that nation.

Clearly the time is at hand for the decent peoples of the world to stand up in unison and in opposition to the tyranny regularly displayed by the government of Communist Mainland China (Peoples Republic of China). Personally, I would think that any corporation from the free world that would open operations in that nation must be mentally deficient (regardless of cheap labor and regardless of how many employment opportunities this statement may cost me). Additionally, I believe it is imperative that the free peoples of the world speak for those oppressed in fascist [/communist] states such as for those in Communist Mainland China (Peoples Republic of China).

I HEREBY SUGGEST THAT THE FREE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD BOYCOTT ANY PRODUCTS FROM COMMUNIST MAINLAND CHINA (PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA) – due to the many reasons explained above.

The Youtube comedian/jokester, Evan Emory, who edited his video to make it appear he was singing a sexually-suggestive song to a group of young school children agreed to a plea bargain whereby he will serve a sentence of a sixty day jail-term (among other things). The said individual pleaded ‘no contest’ to "unlawful posting of an Internet message with aggravating circumstances” – according to the Village Voice. Apparently the young man/comic agreed to the plea bargain to avoid any possibility of a conviction of "manufacturing child pornography."

Clearly, the young man and video jokester didn’t think his joke through to any possible conclusion – especially how the video might be perceived/received by any of the young children’s parents, let alone how it might be perceived by a prosecutor or judge. If my child had been highlighted in the video, I also probably would have been perturbed. Nevertheless, in this day and age, it would seem nearly anyone would agree to spend a month [or so] in jail [to appease any upset parents or bureaucrats] before they would risk being labeled and nationally listed as a ‘sex offender’ – assuming they ever wanted another job.

What is of issue here, in my opinion, is this matter highlights how the plea bargain process seems improper. Maybe this matter should have been heard to clarify what speech is illegal and what is not – regardless of what is improper or in poor taste or what jokes of what subject should be avoided. Of course, such a hearing/trial would have meant a considerable increase in workload for all the legal entities and personnel involved.

Then again, what probably prevented this matter from being heard is the apparent and often improper nature of mandatory type of sentencing, particularly so concerning any national blacklists – such as any National Bad Drivers List, No-Fly List (unless the individual is a verified terrorist) and dare I say it, any sex-offenders list (because it can apparently blacklist for life any such simplistic comedian-wanna-be, for one example).

It would seem mandatory sentencing or labeling should only apply to violent criminals, in my opinion, if at all. Sentencing guidelines would appear as a better alternative. It would seem that any honest and competent judge could distinguish those that should be removed from society and incarcerated and those for whom such a sentence of incarceration may not be warranted. However, of course, not all judges are fair, honest, and competent – as history has shown us time and time again throughout the land.

I mean, regardless of all else, maybe this matter should have been heard/tried to clarify what is Free speech and what is not. Such a clarification appears as necessary for some, obviously. This Youtube comedian was not intending to make child pornography, in my opinion, he was merely attempting to make a [poor or improper] joke. However, any mandatory sentencing and blacklisting of this Youtube comedian likely also would have been improper. (Be aware, I don’t know the individual personally.)

As a result of no clarification of legal speech in this matter, would any viewer of the joke Youtube video also be guilty of watching child pornography? Are/Were any news/media outlets then providing child pornography by allowing anyone to view the video on their websites or broadcasts? Was Youtube guilty of posting child pornography when it allowed the posting of this video to its massive website?

As with any legal ambiguity, by this plea bargain, Freedom of Speech has essentially been weakened as to what Free Speech is legal or illegal – again, as such a clarification appears as necessary for some and, in the end, such a legal clarification could help all. Is the Village Voice breaking the Law by providing the video for viewing – which it chose not to do by the link below? I don’t profess to have or know the answer for dealing with pedophiles and I wish such individuals were not ever among the free and decent peoples of the world, of course. However, when one is talking about Freedom of Speech without any violent intentions, well…. Maybe, at a minimum, our tax dollars would be better spent by not putting misguided and simple-minded comedians in jail for jokes – regardless of the inappropriate nature of the joke.

Are bat populations/species facing extinction as reported predictions anticipate?

One has to wonder what is causing the latest manifestation of all the unsavory realities throughout the world (bees disappearing, bat-kills, bird-kills, fish-kills, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.). Have any such unsavory conditions in the world always been present to the latest degree and our latest concern is more a result of the speed and quantity of reported information? Could these recent conditions be a result of global climate change or possibly the testing of a massive science-fiction type of electromagnet weaponry? Or did these types of calamities always happen from time to time and to such an extent in nature and the populace didn’t have access to high-tech or high-speed news media to be informed of the matter (immediately or otherwise)? Then again..., is something more ominous afoot – albeit of mankind or cosmic origin?

TSA Agents Arrested for Theft at JFK Airport in NYC. TSA: Thieving Scoundrel Admin. of the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security!

Approximately a week and a half ago, reports were broadcast telling of the arrest and confessions of at least two [if not several] TSA Agents concerning theft from airline travelers at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City. The agents of the TSA (Transportation Security Administration, or was that the Thieving Scoundrels Administration) were apparently stealing material items from passengers’ checked baggage; the same checked baggage that the agents were responsible for verifying as safe and flight-worthy and not containing dangerous or terroristic devices/contraband. Apparently, arrests of TSA Agents from JFK had been made several weeks ago. However, I heard no report of the story until last week. Very briefly, I heard the reported story on WABC Television Late-Night News Sunday March 27th, as I recall.

Does it seem odd that this story was not given more attention by the mainstream press/media outlets? TSA, the U.S. airport security folks who x-ray and search baggage at the airports and screen passengers as well, are - of course - U.S. government employees (U.S. Department of Homeland Security / insecurity). I would venture to guess that many would not want the populace/consumer/airline traveler to know that some of these TSA folks who are entrusted with helping to verify our safety while traveling via commercial airliners are no better than common thieves. Again, that is to say, I am sure many governmental-type entities would not want us to know that several of the government agents entrusted with our safety are merely low-life criminals – those who have neither apparent need nor desperation but choose to steal to better themselves financially, nevertheless.

Are incidents such as this which involved the apparently government sanctioned thieves at JFK Airport more prevalent and more widespread than the average American consumer may know? Or, is this merely an isolated series of incidents or another in the long list of our Federal government’s ineptitude? Lest we forget, these TSA baggage checkers and security personnel [and thieves] have supposedly gone through rigorous background checks to ensure any trust placed in the TSA personnel is warranted. Apparently, the numbers of common thieves among the TSA has grown and thefts of this sort have continued across the nation for a significant period of time, btw.

In my opinion, another of the huge ironies with this story - and another reason why I no longer enjoy traveling via commercial airliners anymore - is that when traveling by air, the traveler can no longer lock their checked baggage to prevent theft of valuables. Baggage can not be locked, of course, so that any of these potential thieves/TSA Agents can go through/inspect the checked baggage – all in the name of security, anti-terrorism, and passenger safety. (Search and seizure/Fourth Amendment Rights therefore being suspended, no doubt.)

With the irony marching forward: If these TSA Agents can not be trusted to not steal from the unsuspecting airline passengers, one must logically wonder, what else might the corrupt TSA agents put a price on? Could the corrupt thieves amongst the TSA inspectors be bribed into letting dangerous or terroristic items/weapons on the planes?

Obviously, any trust in the recently arrested TSA-common-thieves was ill-placed. One has to wonder if any faith of somewhat assured safety concerning the airplane, cargo, and the planes’ passengers was also ill-advised – given the actions of these TSA agents at JFK Airport.

PS. As another interesting personal oddity to this story, I am aware of a friend who was on business travel to a non-stop destination, leaving from JFK Airport in New York a few weeks ago. Upon arrival at their destination, my friend then discovered that a lap-top computer which was in their checked baggage had been stolen. They reported the theft to the authorities a few days prior to the recent re-reported arrest of the TSA agents/thieves which was broadcast last week. So in other words, there are likely to be more/other thieves working for the TSA at JFK which have yet to be caught - as the thieves of this latest reported story had been arrested prior to the theft of my friend's lap-top computer. Regardless, I’m sure my friend’s missing computer has long-since landed in some Gotham City stolen-computer chop-shop and will likely never be seen again.

Mainland/Communist China Should Become Part of Taiwan! Taiwan Should Not Become Part of Mainland China!

Regardless of the current falsehoods posted on the internet on sites such as Wikipedia.org – likely posted by the Western governments as well as likely being posted by others, no doubt – it would surely appear that the seemingly imprisoned peoples of mainland/communist China (Peoples Republic of China) would be better served to be under the rule of the nation of Taiwan (Republic of China), not the other way around. Taiwan does not block Freedom of speech internet sites such as Twitter and Facebook as does mainland China. Taiwan does not seem to repeatedly round up dissidents and human rights lawyers/activists and take them away to prisons from which they are never heard from again – as does mainland China. More than likely, mainland China probably executes any collected dissidents merely for the dissidents’ crime of wanting freedom of speech, justice, and human rights for the populace of the nation.

As far as I know, the people of Taiwan are free to state their thoughts on the internet on sites such as Twitter and Facebook and the Taiwanese can search the internet via Goggle for whatever unfiltered information they may desire. The residents of mainland/communist China can not use any of those sites to gain uncensored information or to openly speak their minds as the government of mainland/communist China either blocks or filters those internet sites from its populace. It would appear that if the populace of mainland/communist China were under the rule of the Taiwanese government, at a minimum, the mainland Chinese would be more free than they are currently.

Don’t even believe the politically correct ‘crap’ put on the internet that Taiwan is, and should be part of mainland China. The Western governments appear content to support [the government of] mainland/communist China and the westerners also appear content to sell any support for the Freedoms of the one to two billion people in mainland/communist China in exchange for a seemingly never ending source of cheap [slave-wage] labor in addition to also gaining the ability to have western manufacturing operations in mainland China - which apparently are not subject to any anti-pollution laws nor subject to western employment laws either.

This blog is merely to state that the government of mainland/communist China appears as unjust and apparently needs to go away. This blog means no ill will to the good people of mainland/communist China. This blog reflects my opinion, my knowledge of the situation, and reflects reported news on the matter as well. Because, where I come from we are allowed and often encouraged to voice our opinions.

Companies/corporations which take their operations to China (Peoples Republic of China) appear to support the proliferation of a government system which seems to be based upon the oppression of its people. On the other hand, companies which are creating a viable middle class in China also appear as nurturing the inevitable revolution which will take place in that nation in order to gain necessary individual rights and freedoms for China’s populace. Everyone knows that most successful revolutions have historically been brought about by the rise of an educated middle-class in any given population living under fascist-like oppression. Still, one has to wonder if the firms operating in modern-day China are concerned one way or the other regarding freedom or oppression of anyone.

As widely reported on the television news this morning, the soldier who allegedly leaked all the classified government documents to Wikileaks.org was charged with a multitude of violations/infractions including ‘aiding the enemy’ – which reportedly is punishable by death.

Yea, well, providing classified documents to anyone outside any organization is generally a bad thing. But this leaking of these documents to WikiLeaks.org certainly did nevertheless aid the enemy as well as the American people it should be noted. These leaked documents aided our enemies [as well as the American people] by showing the continued levels of arrogance and stupidity which run rampant and unchecked inside our U.S. State Department and U.S. Department of Defense as well.

For whatever such is worth, apparently the only/main reason the documents were classified – from what I understand – was due to the derogatory opinions and statements in the documents regarding certain American allies – and whoever originated the documents made them classified, of course. I mean, how stupid are these arrogant losers/dorks in the Department of Defense and the State Department anyhow? From my personal experiences, by the way, those who call the shots in these Federal government departments typically appear as extremely arrogant and generally quite stupid too – especially in business matters.*

Other than his breaking the rules, this soldier is probably a hero for showing the idiocy that continues to exist in the upper echelons of our Federal government, in reality. It appears the soldier’s shining of the light on the level of stupidity in the DoD and State Departments is his true crime. Why would the idiots even put such derogatory comments about American allies in writing anyhow?

Like Father Powell said to me long ago, if you can’t tell others what you are doing, you probably should not be doing it. If we can’t get rid of the idiots running the show at DoD and State Department, maybe we can do away with their ability to conceal the truth from the American people?!? Maybe some transparency should be brought to these Federal government departments, anyhow? WE all know they spend a lot of our tax money. Furthermore, given the widespread arrogance and stupidity rampant in our governments, the departments which seek to prosecute this soldier may be best to think twice before crucifying any American who may have displayed to the people the dysfunctional nature of these departments which are supported at taxpayer expense.

Then again, like I have repeatedly said before, maybe we should just repeal the 11th Amendment to the U.S. Federal Constitution. Thereby we could make these arrogant government dorks liable for their incompetence, liable to the American people and taxpayers – that is.

*For instance, concerning the DoD’s stupidity in business matters: When I worked for the Federal government, rarely was a concern ever expressed by any government worker for the well-being American taxpayer/taxdollar. And, when I [or a few others] expressed any concern for the wasting of tax dollars, such concerns would generally be ignored or generate scoffs from other employees and management. Typically, concerns for any employment laws were also non-existent by upper management of the Federal employer as well because the management answered to no one, apparently.

Containers Full of Expired Food Displays Typical Waste of School Systems’ Funds.

As widely reported on Boston area television news, a Boston City councilman acting on a tip discovered several instances of food that had been frozen/stored in school cafeteria freezers and coolers possibly long past the suggested use date of the food. In reality, as much as any possible health or nutritional concerns raised over this matter of which the FDA (?) said there was none, this near wasting of food likely shows the widespread levels of inefficiencies which lead to the ever present school system funding difficulties and government waste of taxdollars.

Personally, I think it’s odd that no one else (politicians, school folks, or media reporters alike) seems concerned about the potential wasting of taxpayer funds with what is sure to become the wasting of food.

Throw a Snowball in Gloucester, Mass. Means You Go to Jail! And We Wonder Why Our Governments are all Broke and Consistently Over Budget?!?

It was reported on WHDH (Boston Channel 7 Television) 7 News Today in New England (at about 0630) this morning, an unruly youth (mid-20’s in age) during the early A.M. hours of this past Saturday threw a snowball at a police vehicle which was “being driven by an officer who was responding to a call” (or something like that). That youth has since been arrested and charged with “assault with a dangerous weapon” (or something like that). What’s more, it was further reported that, in fact, it is against the “Law” in the City of Gloucester, Massachusetts, to even throw a snowball. It was subsequently reported that the youth pled ‘guilty’ to the charges (yesterday?).

Now to begin with, I suspect the ‘call’ that the police officer ‘was responding to’ was probably the snowball fight that was going on between various patrons of late-night drinking establishments immediately prior to the ‘responding’ officer’s arrival on the scene of the potentially ‘deadly’ snowball. Lest one forgets, much of the ground of the greater Boston area has been under four feet of snow for several weeks, if not months, at the time of this writing.

But it is illegal to throw a snowball? And yes, I am aware of the potential implications of the unruly youth’s action and target as well. But…

Regardless of all else, however, do we really need to wonder why our governments are broke and consistently over-budget? I don’t really need to explain my meaning here, do I? WE in the real world, of course, are aware that to throw someone in jail essentially ties up resources, manpower, and funds, correct? Or am I the one that is incorrect here? Could the fine have made money for the City of Gloucester – to warrant such an allocation of the City’s resources?

While I was always inclined to be on his side as the gun-control laws in NYC seem ridiculous, the repeated level of cluelessness on nearly every front by Mr. Ryan couldn’t help but to raise eyebrows. For starters, if he planned to leave the pistol in such a conspicuous place in his vehicle, upon any vandal’s efforts the pistol could have easily found its way to any potentially violent creep. And, regardless if such is posted for all tourists to see or not, everyone knows it is currently illegal to take a right turn on red in Manhattan. In the end, as we all know, other than police officers and a select few others, only criminals who don’t care about laws can have continued and easy access to guns in Gotham. So Mr. Ryan apparently was traveling quite oblivious to the reality of his situation – which is some cause for alarm in and of itself.

I would be interested to know more of the circumstances of the police-stop and why the police wanted to search the vehicle, and for that matter, why the driver/Ryan agreed to let them search the vehicle. Because, of late, many of the police in the greater NYC/Gotham area surely seem quick to stop vehicles/molest drivers and to ask the driver for his/her ‘travel papers’ – like don’t sit in a car in a NYC area parking lot and talk on the cell phone without expecting a visit from any authorities that happen by, regardless if it is now a major traffic violation in NY State to move a vehicle while talking on a cell phone.

But the 'race-card' people in this matter might have a point, I think. If Ryan had been a ‘home-boy’ from the Bronx (or wherever) as opposed to a ‘yahoo’ from Florida, would he have been privy to the same benefit of the doubt? Then again, if Ryan had been a local homeboy without the common sense to hide his heater/pistol in a less conspicuous place, then maybe he would not have deserved any benefit of the doubt – particularly so, given the well-known yet apparently misguided outlook on guns by the current administration of Gotham City.

Nevertheless, since Ryan apparently had the pistol with no ill-intent, it would seem the District Attorney of New York could better spend tax-dollars pursuing true criminals and not attempting to bolster the absurd gun-control laws of Gotham – gun laws which generally appear to perpetuate the violent crime levels in NYC. As a testament to the absurdity of Gotham’s gun laws, it reportedly only took thirty minutes of deliberations for the jury to acquit Ryan of the felony weapons charges.

In the end, I am glad Ryan did not have his life ruined as another martyr to the absurd NYC gun-control laws – again, laws which only seem to perpetuate crime in Gotham. When I write/state ‘Shred The Fed’ or anything to a similar extent, I mean for one to do so in a Court of Law. By 'Shredding The Fed' in a Court of Law, one would thereby be removing any unconstitutional delegation/enumeration of power concerning control of the American Nation's money supply from the Federal Reserve System and returning control of the Nation's money supply to a government entity that would claim a fiduciary responsibility to the American People.

I could make that legal argument to remove this enumeration of power from the Fed, however. Just ask me how, should you be interested to know.

Inflation Pressures Somewhat Rise for No Apparent Reason other than the Efforts of the Federal Reserve. ‘SHRED THE FED’!!!

As reported early this morning by WYNS (1010 "WINS" AM Radio) in New York City, inflation pressures are apparently on the rise - with the radio station reporting that prices had risen 0.8% (though I am not for what period or who they were quoting). Today, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) economic indicator was released and it also seems to confirm that prices are on the rise as well (0.4% increase since the previous month).

Anyone that knows anything of economics surely knows that, during the ‘normal’ course of economic events, inflation typically only rises when much of the workforce is gainfully employed and therefore competition surfaces between consumers for the available goods – which in turn causes prices to rise and inflation to occur. Of course, we are not in any ‘normal’ times and, in reality, the American Nation is still in the throws of a major depression with unemployment staying at near record high levels.

So, given this basic knowledge of economics and the current realities of the American economy, what then has caused this latest round of inflation to arise?

Clearly, this latest rise in inflation appears as the result of no other reason than that of the concerted efforts of the Federal Reserve System and its continued and never-ending devaluation of the dollar – of which I have long blogged. Of course, the Fed and others may argue that the continued devaluation of the dollar (Federal Reserve Note) is to the benefit of the American populace and Nation. I would merely respond with telling those that may believe that logic to go and ask the average citizen if the devalued dollar is of any benefit to the typical homeowner/consumer - who now may have to make a choice between buying milk and bread or rather to buy gasoline because of rising prices the average homeowner/consumer may no longer afford to buy both! Of course, the argument could be made that increased fuel costs are adding to any inflationary pressures. However, I would counter any such assertions with the apparent fact that much of the increased fuel costs are a direct result of the devalued dollar - a fact that I am confident I could easily verify/prove.

In reality, however, there could be any number of other reasons why the apparently self-serving/inept/nearly-criminal Federal Reserve System continues to devalue the dollar/Federal Reserve Note. One such reason would be merely that the Fed desires to forever increase the value of its gold holdings. Another reason, of course, is that the nation is again approaching another national election and therefore the Fed has decided to artificially increase prices (by devaluing the dollar) and therefore try to also artificially increase the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which, by definition, would mean that the depression/recession has officially ended. By artificially ending the current depression/recession, the Fed would be coming to the rescue of its apparent errand-boys and lackeys in elected positions – with these individuals forever holding positions of power such as the White House and Congress.

What hold does the Federal Reserve System have on our government which allows the Fed to remain in power and to control our government as well as our Nation? What hold does the Fed maintain, in deed, as such a hold was clearly against the wishes/intent (and warned against) by the Founding Fathers of our American Nation – if not blatantly against the U.S. Federal Constitution? How is it that the Fed stays in control when our Founding Fathers expressly seemed to state in the U.S. Federal Constitution that no outside entities should ever control the money supply of our Nation?

Therefore, as such, I would surmise that the time is approaching to ‘SHRED THE FED’!!! It would appear that the only way to effect any ‘shredding of the Fed’/discontinuation of the Federal Reserve System is to elect politicians who care more for the well being of the American populace than the politician would care for the purse-strings of the wealthy bankers of our nation and the world. Does such a politician exist? Will I have to run for Congress to this end? Or, would the bankers and the Fed [and its cronies and lawyers/judges throughout our governments and legal establishments] act in accordance with the long list of tyrants throughout world history and merely extinguish any such politician for making such a suggestion as ‘shredding the Fed,’ I have to wonder – as typically the bankers apparently care for nothing above money which then seem to include the disregard of any laws governing the conduct of decent human beings as well? I would be happy to expand on these thoughts, should anyone ask – by the way. Am I only one of a few that is willing to put forth these thoughts for all to hear?

Armed Jewelry Store Robbers Sent Fleeing By Armed Store Owner In the Bronx. My On-Going ‘Unofficial’ Gun-Control ‘Debate’ with NYC Mayor Bloomberg.

As reported early this morning by WYNS (1010 "WINS" AM Radio) in New York City, yesterday armed robbers entered a Bronx (New York City) jewelry store dressed as upscale potential clients. Upon allowing the would-be robbers entry into the store, the store owner soon had a gun placed next to his head during an attempted robbery. However, the store owner then brandished his own licensed pistol and began shooting at the robbers. The would-be robbers were then sent fleeing out of the store. The two robbers who entered the store got away but a third [look-out] accomplice was wounded in the leg and eventually arrested. The other two would-be robbers are presumed to be still on the loose and at-large in the New York City area with a possible unreported amount of stolen valuables.

Does anyone believe that the robbers would have fled the scene in such a fashion had the store owner not been armed? What do you think Mayor Bloomberg? What does your anti-gun/gun-control group think? Would the robbers have fled had the store owner not been armed with an adequate defensive weapon? I will take the liberty to answer for you, Mayor Bloomberg, and say, surely the robbers would not have fled the Bronx jewelry store as they did had the store owner not been armed. What’s more, it’s unlikely that any of the would-be robbers would have been caught, had the store owner not been armed.

Does anyone foolishly believe the jewelry store owner was not in mortal danger during this robbery and likely may have been killed during the course of this robbery – had he not been armed with an adequate defensive weapon? Given the circumstances of this would-be robbery, would anything other than the store owner’s licensed pistol have saved his life? What do you think Mayor Bloomberg? What does your anti-gun/gun-control group think? Again, I will take the liberty to answer for you, Mayor Bloomberg, and say this store owner just as likely would have been killed during the course of this robbery had he not been armed with his defensive weapon, his licensed pistol.

Well, Mayor Bloomberg, as you and I seem to be having an ‘unofficial debate’ on the subject of whether guns provide the only adequate defense to law-abiders (as I claim) or if all gun-owners should be criminals (as you seem to claim), it’s now your turn to move in response to my stated facts with this blog. Of course, during this ‘unofficial debate,’ I am merely armed with my words, my thoughts, my logic, my blog and my computer; you, on the other hand, additionally have your battery of billions of dollars, the entire workforce of a major urban city, and the minions in your anti-gun/gun-control group as well.

Since it’s your turn to respond, Mayor Bloomberg, what will you do this time? Will ‘gruff-up’ your ‘agents’ and have them pose as would-be violent creeps and send them to buy guns in places such as Nevada, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, or maybe Delaware – as you did previously in Arizona about a month ago? I would hereby suggest that you spare any other state your assertions and implications that any other state may have some culpability regarding the amount of crime in New York City/Gotham City – for no other state has any responsibility for what happens in New York. Might I hereby suggest that you save us all the time and surely make one of my debate points for me – and possibly make one of you own points as well, and thereby send your ‘agents’ to any unnamed borough of Gotham City and have them buy illegal weapons there? Such would surely show, no matter what spin you were to put on it as to the original origin of any illegally purchased weapon in your city, that violent creeps will always be able to get guns should they have the desire to do so. The only proper response to such a reality is for law-abiders to also have adequate defensive weapons such as pistols to allow law-abiders to defend themselves against would-be robbers and violent creeps. Then again, maybe that is another of your points in that you do not desire the law-abiding citizenry to maintain the ability to defend themselves against would-be violent creeps?

Mayor Bloomberg, should you be willing to discuss or debate the matters herein in-person or via the telephone, I would be honored to hear from you and would relish the opportunity to debate you on these issues as well.

Yet Another Congressman/Politician Can’t Keep “It” in His Pants – Or, Apparently Was Hoping Not To. This Story Has Extra Irony Too.

Yet another Congressman/politician has gone down in flames due to his seeking an extramarital affair. This time, Representative Christopher Lee of the Buffalo/Amherst, New York area, was exposed as a result of his own efforts of trolling the internet for prospective dates. Congressman Lee used his real name, normal email address, informed the woman that he worked on Capitol Hill, and forwarded pictures of himself to the prospective date, and additionally complained of dates that he had met in the past off-line of CraigsList (CraigsList.org). The woman searched his name and realized who he was and forwarded his shirtless picture to some other website that promptly posted the photo for the world to see.

But, I mean..., really…, the arrogance and stupidity shown by our would-be philandering politicians never ceases to boggle the mind. I may not really be one to judge and we all surely make mistakes, but to risk his career as well as his marriage and family just to ‘hook-up’ with a stranger on the internet would surely seem absurd – and, unfortunately, in keeping with so many other politicians that have gone down a similar road in the past.

Ironically, ex-Representative Lee had championed the Student Internet Safety Act and had previously “…warned kids of the dangers of the Internet… ‘Responding to what may seem like a friendly email …can have serious consequences,’ he wrote. ‘Private information and images can so easily be transmitted to friends and strangers alike;’” (according to the New York Post, Page 3, February 10, 2011).

Funny how we as humans can be so prophetic and quick to give good advice to others and yet, at the same time, we are just as quick to disregard and unable to apply the same good advice in our own dealings. (http://poetrybyadamvernontrotter.blogspot.com/2011/02/on-giving-advice.html)

The bottom line is: If any politician is unwilling to honor any sacred vow to a spouse while they are in office, what other vows might they decide not to honor? Adding to any unseemly disregard of vows is the level of trust with which any politician has been instilled by his supporters and constituents, well… I think we – as Americans – often still seem to be electing the wrong types of people – at least if this case is any indicator. On the eleventh (11th) day of the second month of the eleventh (11th) year of the second millennium, I have had a revelation: To repair the apparently dysfunctional and inept entities which seemingly comprise most of the governments across our Nation of the United States of America, it would seem WE merely need to repeal the Eleventh (11th) Amendment to the U.S. Federal Constitution!

And to clarify the matter for posterity, maybe a new Amendment should be ratified to clearly state something to the extent that governments have no sovereign immunity in the U.S. of A.

In response to the continuing colossal natural gas main explosions and water main breaks throughout our Nation – of which I have long discussed in another blog (see below), our governments and government-blessed monopolies WE all know as our utility companies seem essentially ineffectual at proactive efforts to stop the never ending supply of massive catastrophes. As such, I began to ponder how the American populace could get our governments to act to protect us from these continued disasters. To this end, today I had a revelation:

REPEAL THE ELEVENTH (11TH) AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. FEDERAL CONSTITUTION!!

The Eleventh (11th) Amendment is what is claimed to give immunity to the seemingly inept governments and government officials throughout our Nation. Given such immunity from suit, our governments often seem to have no culpability in their neglect of our crumbling infrastructure systems or any culpability in any other government negligence. To repeal this Amendment would then clear the way for any numbers of the populace to pursue legal action against the governments and government officials and entities for their negligence of our Nation’s infrastructure as well as any politicians' or government officials' neglect of their elected mandate or duty to their office or duty to the People. Though, with no doubt, the original Chief Justice Marshall ruled that individuals could - in fact - legally sue government entities (circa 1810/1820). However, since that time, his ruling has been all but ignored by the legal establishments and jurisdictions of our lands. Again, maybe a new Amendment should be ratified to clearly state something to the extent that governments have no sovereign immunity in the U.S. of A.

Any such proposed changes to our sacred Federal Constitution are not put forth in this blog in any light-hearted manner, btw. And, any such changes to the Amendments thereof are not intended to open any proverbial ‘can of worms’ to any potential money-grubbers and ambulance-chasing type attorneys amongst us either. Maybe to prevent any frivolous/capricious law suits from ensuing – once our inept governments were to become liable for their actions or in-actions by repealing the Eleventh (11th) Amendment, some sort of swift, just, and potentially severe financial penalties and court costs could be levied against any individuals who were to bring forth any subsequent trivial or frivolous law suits under any new revisions to the Federal Constitution – as proposed herein.

Is London Calling? US to Provide British/UK Nuclear Secrets to Russia for Arms Treaty!?! Did Our Ally Agree to These Terms? (Reportedly WikiLeaks)

Last night during a talk show on Boston Radio (WBZ 1030 AM @ 2300 hours EST, approx.), the host was speaking about the latest round of information released from internet-based and tattle-tale group WikiLeaks. The following story/information was also reported by New York news radio this evening (WYNS, 1010 "WINS" AM Radio) – quoting another newspaper (London Telegraph, Author: Nile Gardiner) as its source. WikiLeaks is claming/reporting that the U.S. government has agreed to provide nuclear secrets of our long-time ally Great Britain/United Kingdom to Russia in exchange for the Russians ratification of the latest strategic arms limitation/reduction treaty (“New START” between the U.S.A. and the country of Russia). As the U.S. apparently produces missiles for the British nuclear arsenal, it is reported/claimed that the U.S. government would then also provide Russia with quantities and serial numbers of all missiles sold/provided to our British/U.K. allies. Assuming such an agreement has not been blessed by the British/U.K., to provide such information to the Russians would appear as nearly traitorous, in my opinion. The provision of British/U.K. nuclear secrets to the Russians is reported to be a condition of the proposed arms reduction treaty and the provision of such information was required by the Russians in order to agree to any nuclear arms reduction treaty.

Two main issues seem to be at hand. First, quite simply, why is the United States always the one to bend-over-backwards to accommodate and appease the seemingly disinterested Russians? If they don’t also want the treaty or see the treaty to be to their benefit: to hell with them! Then, let there be no treaty! Are our negotiators merely inept and therefore in keeping with the rest of our Federal government? Second, if such reports and claims are true: Regardless of the debatable topics of whether the U.S. has kissed the British backside for too long, regardless of whether the British [or U.K.] Government / crown / bankers have long deceived and possibly denigrated the free peoples of the world, regardless of whether the current U.S. Presidential Administration has a personal axe to grind or family vendetta against the British, and regardless of whether the U.S. wants access to the vast natural resources in Russia as part of this treaty effort, (assuming the U.K. has not blessed such a move to provide such information to the Russians,) to sell-out our long-time and staunch allies in the United Kingdom to effect an arms treaty with Russia seems preposterous and absurd!

The point of this blog, of course, is based on the assumption that the Brits/U.K. government has not approved this offer of information to the Russians to bring the Russians to the bargaining table. However, it would appear doubtful that the Brits/U.K. would bless such a release of nuclear weapons related information to the Russians, either. For if they had, simply, such a leaked story would then be of no real interest to WikiLeaks folks – if WikiLeaks knew one way or the other concerning such a blessing from the Brits.

I understand why the Russians would want information about the British/U.K. stockpile of nuclear weaponry when the Russians are considering agreeing to reductions. However, regarding the apparent sell-out of our long-time allies to our long-time adversaries, I must ask: has the simplistic U.S. government now lost all common sense? Barring British approval, do I really need to explain the apparent implications of selling-out our allies and throwing loyalty to the wind, irrespective of whether such a loyalty possibly has been given too much heed during recent decades? Nevertheless, unless the Brits have already agreed to such terms, to essentially turn on our long time ally would appear unethical, immoral, and surely would reflect a lack of integrity and also display the poor judgment of our American politicians and government agencies – regardless of any noble motivations. Anyone who would look to sell-out our allies and provide British nuclear secrets to the Russians would essentially appear traitorous to the cause of freedom and decency in the world, in my opinion. For example, what does the Russian government historically know or care of any Freedoms?

Furthermore, has the U.S. not always professed its willingness to execute any individual as treasonous for providing secret information to other nations, let alone if such nations were adversarial nations? Is this merely another instance of the U.S. government ‘leading by example’ (sarcasm) and saying “do as I say, not as I do?” As Americans, clearly we seem to be always having to wonder if our politicians and government officials even know the meaning of the words “truthful,” “loyalty,” and “decency” or if they simply don’t care about the meaning of these words (especially the Defense Department and the State Department). If this reportedly leaked story is true, it would appear WikiLeaks is the true hero and maybe we should have WikiLeaks members as our national politicians – at least they appear to be truthful regardless of all else, as WikiLeaks was created in response to an air of deceit continually proliferated by our governments*.

Of course, I have no personal knowledge of whether this story is actually true, or whether there is more to the story than what is currently known to the public or more than what has been surmised by AM Talk Radio personalities in the U.S. (such additional unknown information as the British Government agreeing to these terms and the release of information regarding its nuclear arsenal to the Russians)**. Again, this story is apparently based on the latest/upcoming round of information from internet-based WikiLeaks. If the story is true, thank you to WikiLeaks for providing the populace with truth concerning the actions of our government. If true, WikiLeaks appears to continually reveal the arrogance and simplistic nature of the U.S. government. Currently, I am inclined to believe any information WikiLeaks unearths. If such information is false or WikiLeaks has been intentionally untruthful, well . . ., time will tell.

At this point in time, the only thing I know for sure, and what appears to ring true, is we can’t count on the U.S. government to tell the truth about anything. Now, assuming this story is true, our government would again appear as not truthful to its own allies either. One has to wonder, how long will these same politicians be reelected to ruin everything that was once decent about our nation? If our government officials have unilaterally taken it upon themselves to sell-out our ally, I say, vote all these politicians out of office and dissolve any Federal agencies that would agree to these unilateral terms of screwing our allies – regardless of their motivations!!

* Surely it appears that WikiLeaks always would be advocates for Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Thought, and Freedom of the Press and apparently would be bigger champions for these Rights and Causes than any/most national U.S. politicians of recent decades! WikiLeaks’s founder, in an interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes” last Sunday, professed that his only additional care was to be truthful. I believed him.

Our politicians, on the other hand, only appear as advocates for any cause when it suits their political need or when such advocacy appears to be of personal benefit to the politician. And, clearly, providing any truth to the American people typically and repeatedly appears as not warranted and inconsequential to our inept national leaders and arrogant government officials!

** Additionally, the majority [but not necessarily all] of the U.S. network broadcast media/press no longer seem to report anything of any real substance to the American people for fear that the American populace will change the television channel or turn off the television once the undesired news is broadcast. Such a mindset seems to reflect the true lack of integrity and arrogance [and/or political leanings] of much of our mainstream press/media: that is, they only really care about making money and do not care about informing the American public of any truth.

Regarding this latest WikiLeaks matter, either the majority of the mainstream American press/media doesn’t believe, doesn’t know, or doesn’t want to inform the populace that our government would apparently sell-out and turn on one of its closest allies.

It has been widely reported today that Mayor Bloomberg sent NYC (?) agents/cops to easily buy guns at a private gun show in Phoenix, AZ. As no one wants to see mentally unbalanced/unstable or potentially violent individuals brandishing firearms, it appears that the Mayor raises a valid concern. However, to make it anymore difficult for law-abiding citizens to acquire/bear defensive weapons which they may require does not appear as the solution to end the proliferation of violent creeps attacking innocents in our society. Although, in the end, if these purchasers of the fire arms were in fact agents for Mayor Bloomberg, we likely can be sure that they were not mentally unbalanced/unstable or potentially violent individuals. For that matter, maybe the individual selling the items in question knew these individuals were acting for Bloomberg and wanted the sale nevertheless. I don’t know as I wasn’t there.

Pres. Obama, Do/Will I Owe You a “Job Well Done” Compliment?

President Obama,
It has recently occurred to me that I could potentially now – or in the not too distant future - owe you a compliment of “job well done.” Upon your recent well-publicized visits to many major manufacturers throughout the nation, did you start to play ‘hardball’ with those corporate entities? Meaning, did you tell them to start hiring workers or they would see a decrease in Federal contracts being let to them or other unseemly repercussions of not hiring more employees? Did you per chance tell them to relay such a sentiment to their suppliers as well? In return, did you possibly offer these corporate entities less Federal government ‘red tape’/restrictions/regulations as a possible reward for hiring employees? Because, lets face it, such a theme of less corporate regulation has not appeared as typically common to others of your political party affiliation. Anyway, if so, I would be proud to congratulate you. Because clearly such a confrontation is long overdue and we can be sure that your last few predecessors had no inclination to do such a thing for the populace (or at a minimum were unnoticeably unsuccessful if they had).

Without a doubt, we are all aware that the Dow Jones index is climbing. We are all aware that American corporate productivity is at an all-time high. We are all also aware that these positive indicators are a likely result of many employers requiring their workers to do the job and work-hours of three workers so that the employers do not have to hire workers and pay more benefits (such as the hypothetical additional employee’s healthcare). I know this mentality of the employers exists and I know this for a fact because I have a friend that has worked the assembly line of a major employer for the last five months without any days off, seven days a week (with the exception of Christmas and New Year’s Day) – because his employer refuses to hire more workers. And if my friend were to complain about such work demands or refuse any overtime hours, surely he would be fired and replaced with another unemployed citizen desperate for a job.

If my speculations above are correct, well…: “good job, Mr. President Obama.” I am not a prima-donna who refuses to give credit where credit is due. However, you could let us know that you were playing ‘hardball’ with them, we wouldn’t mind. On the other hand, if my conjectures above are not possibly close to being accurate, well please disregard this note/blog, if you would be so kind.

President Obama, Cut Whatever Budget You Want, We Are Accustomed To Such.

President Obama,
as you mentioned in your recent State of the Union Address, you plan to cut budgets everywhere. Don’t sweat it. As I’m sure you know, the American People are accustomed to our politicians reducing the budget of the government services We desire the most – whenever our politicians are faced with the necessity to reduce budgets. Why would politicians cut fat where it really exists, no doubt? Also, why would we expect you to do any different or why would you think we would expect you to be different in this regard?

But please keep in mind, We are also aware that nearly any Federal agency can probably perform the agency’s workload with half its numbers of employees and/or half its budget. In fact, we are also aware that several agencies would not even be missed if they were to disappear from the budget entirely. Furthermore, the American People are aware that many agencies appear to offer no value to the taxpayer nor do several Federal agencies seem to care about adding value to the taxpayer.

Should you be interested in my advice as to where to start cutting the Federal budget, please contact me, of you would be so kind.

It was widely reported in New York area news that New York City Mayor Bloomberg has again called for tougher national gun-control laws. On Monday, he hosted a rally to promote and highlight his agenda for more gun-control. This rally appeared to be in response to the tragic shooting incident in Tucson, Arizona (wherein an armed violent creep shot a Congresswoman, a Federal judge, and several other unarmed and defenseless citizens). This effort by Mayor Bloomberg to strengthen gun-control laws was also reported on News 12 Long Island on Monday. (See: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/26/nyregion/26arms.html?src=twrhp)

Nearly at the same time – or the evening before the rally, an elderly Staten Island couple was “viciously beaten” in the lobby of their apartment building by an unknown assailant/violent creep. Upon returning/walking home after closing their nearby shop, the couple was severely beaten to the point of the elderly woman requiring hospitalization. Had not the couple’s middle-aged son luckily appeared on the scene, it is likely that the unknown violent creep would have beaten the couple to death, as the elderly gentleman described the attack – and as reported on NYC’s Channel 7 News. The son was also beaten until the assailant apparently decided to flee with the all the cash the couple had in their possession: a mere $18 (eighteen dollars) is what he robbed from the couple. Clearly, if the son or the elderly couple had been armed, the attack likely would not have happened or surely would not have progressed to the extent which it did. Of course, when brandishing a gun, we are all aware that the situation could become inflamed or end with even more tragic results to the innocent. One never knows the results of something that did not happen. However, had any of the victims been armed and ready or able to defend themselves, they may have avoided being the victims of the beating and likely saved the rest of society from a similar fate; as the unknown assailant/violent creep is now still on the loose and will probably strike again.

What’s more, what does the multi-billionaire Mayor Bloomberg know of having to defend oneself from attack? Wherever he goes, surely he is in a limousine with a driver and likely has an armed bodyguard (if not many of them) or a police escort. He is unlikely to ever be faced with the dilemma of whether or not he should take a short-cut through a dark alley when walking solo though an urban area. So, who is he to say or mandate that guns should become more difficult for the populace to acquire?

Conversely, I say, give all the citizens guns to defend themselves from potential attack. Attacks such as this one would then surely cease immediately! The good people of the nation would undoubtedly rid the populace of violent creeps such as the one still on the loose on Staten Island. Though I am not sure how accurate such a saying is anymore, I am always reminded of what my deceased uncle (John Hancock) of Houston, Texas always told me in my younger days. He said: “In Houston, everyone has guns, so no one gets robbed. In New York City, however, no one has guns and everyone gets robbed [or likely could be robbed at anytime].”

This blog is not meant as any type of attack of words on NYC Mayor Bloomberg and he is surely entitled to his opinion. I respect him and his efforts to better NYC/Gotham City. Ultimately, I think he has done a good job as Mayor, in my opinion and from what I know of it all. However, such a politician/billionaire who is well-removed from the potentially seedy and realistic trenches of everyday life where much of the citizenry has to fear violent attack should not be attempting to make it more difficult for the citizenry to obtain the necessary weapons to defend themselves against attack from violent creeps – such as defending themselves from the violent creep currently on the loose on Staten Island!

It is worth noting that when the Founding Fathers assured the American Nation of The People’s Right to Bear Arms, the Right to arm oneself for self-defense against random attacks [by violent creeps] was surely taken for granted and such was not the reason the People were vested with this Right. The ability to defend oneself against haphazard and violent attack was clearly an inalienable Right of the American society and way of life. And, should anyone in the modern era attempt to deny such a fact displays they are ignorant of American history. As a simple example, it wasn’t called a Colt Peacemaker for nothing. Also, if anyone in the modern era should believe such a concern for self-defense is a relic of the by-gone past, I would suggest they speak to the aforementioned and apparently law-abiding elderly couple from Staten Island; but the elderly woman will likely need to have her broken jaw un-wired before she can truly speak with anyone, unfortunately.

To be clear, I don’t carry a gun nor do I believe that I need to carry a gun. However, for law-abiding citizens that live in potentially violent areas, they should be able to arm themselves for defense should they believe such a need exists or if they are unable to defend themselves in any other manner. And to be sure, if guns are outlawed/banned, only the criminals will have guns. Who in their right mind would think the criminals would not be aware of this fact that only they would have guns? Criminals don’t care about any laws – that is why they are called criminals. The truth of the matter is simple: If any criminal/violent creep were to seriously desire obtaining a gun, they would likely get one regardless of any laws. Would we, as Americans, be content to know that the law-abiding Citizens of our Nation could then be considered as criminals merely for seeking the ability to defend themselves against violent criminals who care nothing of gun-control laws? Hopefully this last point will remain only as a hypothetical one.

State of the Union Address / National Pep-Talk.

Did anyone watch the national pep-talk/State of the Union Address this evening? Odd how the President addresses what needs fixing to the very body of typically self-serving individuals that sold the nation down this current river of disrepair. Did you notice there was no talk about ridding us of the nearly criminal Federal Reserve System or ending massive cash subsidies to foreign nations that seemingly care nothing of us – at least I didn’t hear such, but I did miss a few minutes of the speech. Did he say “…let us speak with one voice in support of the Federal Reserve System…” – maybe I misheard him on this one? Also, I ‘gotta wonder if those Nobel Peace Prize folks would probably like their prize back.

The Republican Party’s response was just as appalling in my opinion, btw. The Republican respondent agreed that the budget needs to be controlled/curtailed. However, he suggests that recent Obama legislation on healthcare be repealed – and he could be right. However, be it for better or for the worse, the healthcare legislation seems to be one of the few initiatives that at least gives the appearance that the Congress even cares about the well-being of the American people. And, no doubt, one factor in Corporate America’s decisions to not employ workers of late (especially aged workers) is the cost of healthcare.

It would appear that all returning members of Congress (which would have included the President, btw,) have allowed for the continued economic demise of the American People and have likely significantly driven down the well-being of the American workforce. Concurrently, the politicians in Washington have allowed for the continued devaluation of the dollar which puts the populace even in a lower economic standing while allowing prices to escalate. For one example, the price of gasoline continues to forever climb. The dollar (Federal Reserve Note), on the other hand, continues to become more devalued by the Fed. Furthermore, the average worker now has become increasingly desperate for a decent job and will now likely accept employment offers of less than half the salary they would have expected less than a decade ago. Does this not sound like a possibly concerted effort of an entity which consistently sides with corporate America over the well-being of the populace, I have to wonder?

Who has allowed for the selling of our birthright and the off-shoring of our industries? Congress, that’s who. Where was the president during these times of devastation to the American workforce? He was a member of Congress, of course. The Federal Reserve System, however, remains essentially unchanged – with the exception of being considerably wealthier, particularly with its gold holdings. In the end, as business is business and competition rules the day in a ‘free’ society, the mass exodus to foreign shores of our American corporations, manufacturing plants, and American jobs would not be so heinous if it were not for the apparent facilitation of this exodus by our own government – at least if one believes the recently deceased ‘Evil’ Irv Homer of Philadelphia FM 96.5 talk radio fame, and he didn’t seem to be the type to lie about anything, btw. (Some day I hope to personally verify this reported fact.)

Sorry for my potentially dwelling on the negative. But, Mr. President and members of Congress: The time for meaningless pep-talks, quite frankly, has ended. (But I do appreciate how you are seemingly/apparently reading my blogs for your speech material and I am aware much of the macro-economic condition is a matter of perception and pep-talks appear as the nature of the State of the Union Address beast as well.) The point of the matter is, do any of you politicians truly care about the nation’s welfare? Is Congress completely inept or does the Federal Reserve actually run the country and you politicians are merely The Fed’s errand boys? If so, bring on The Fed and let us deal with them directly! Additionally, the mixed party affiliation seating arrangement during this Address likely shows that Congress and our government officials consider us/the populace to be potentially violent and mentally deficient creeps who could respond with unlawful violence over something as superficial and meaningless as political rhetoric spewed from our national politicians. With the new members to Congress potentially withstanding, clearly by now we are all aware that in Washington, D.C., symbolism, rhetoric, the politicians’ own self-interests, The Federal Reserve, and pep-talks are more important to our politicians than the well-being of the American populace.

Are you familiar with/well practiced at the Kepner Tregoe problem solving and decision making process (KT)? Please briefly elaborate.

[I responded with the following:]

Yes.

At the risk of sounding arrogant, which is something I prefer not to do, I consider myself a consummate creative problem solver and a systematic, fair-minded decision maker. The real trick of it all is not to create any new problems while solving others. Ultimately, when faced with any problem, a truthful, viable, and feasible solution that reflects the utmost of technical integrity is what I seek to resolve the difficulty.

Whenever possible, I always strive to achieve ‘win-win’ solutions for all parties involved – even when faced with others who have no knowledge of ‘win-win’ possibilities or prefer/tend to deny any possible ‘win-win’ outcome of any given situation. Regardless, I am a steadfast believer in the importance of proper communication. I enjoy debating topics with others. I try to enlighten and productively persuade others. I prefer open-minded individuals over closed-minded ones. When working as a member of a team, I make a concerted effort to let all team members contribute to the task at hand – in their own fashion, if need be. I rarely, if ever, hold a grudge against anyone. Conversely, I often play ‘devil’s advocate’ concerning nearly any issue in an effort to better any necessary solution.

Consequently, I consider myself an expert at problem definition/analysis efforts – be they actual problems or potential problems and regardless of whether they are of a technical or interpersonal nature. In the end, I always strive to effect meaningful and feasible solutions that survive into the distant future. Along the way, I enjoy breaking-down problems and analyzing all potential variables that might be present. I tend to dislike and distrust any assumptions and I greatly enjoy nonstop brainstorming. As such, I am competent at correcting problems and installing/implementing solutions. Throughout the effort I continually assess and reassess the process and the outcome as necessary. I always consider Return On Investment (ROI) of decisions and life cycle costing of capital investments and improvements (and IRR and NPV, too). Every effort also must pass a simplistic real-world sanity check while being scrutinized for value-added. Furthermore, ethical actions and safety concerns are always paramount throughout any undertakings or efforts. As such, I am never perturbed by supervisory involvement or lack thereof. I am confident that I perform these problem-solving and decision-making initiatives equally well when working as a team member and also when working solo.

While this problem-solving and decision-making process may seem drawn-out or vague and even haphazard or random, such is not the case. Not at all. Problem solving is [almost always] a simplistic and systematic process, albeit possibly an iterative, consuming and involved process at times – depending on the circumstances. Such a systematic and straight-forward process is regardless of the complexity of the problem or the intricacy of the preferred solution/decision – politics and resources potentially withstanding, of course, depending on the environment, situation, and personalities involved. However, when the process functions properly and a ‘win-win’ outcome reflecting fairness, integrity, and truth is attained: the environment, the difficulty, and the situation are all, in fact, nearly and typically irrelevant to the problem-solving and decision-making process.

Had I have known that I could rival Princeton professors with such an answer, or possibly made myself rich or famous with such a process, I may have written this particular blog entry much sooner. :) As might be apparent to some, what I have done here is to take what is claimed to be the Kepner Tregoe (KT) problem solving and decision making process and expanded it. What you might find here in The Adam Vernon Trotter Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Process includes much of what might be included in the common-sense KT Process with additional facets which I do not believe are addressed by the KT process.

U.S. Government/Obama Administration Wants China to Stop Devaluing Its Currency. Which is the Free Nation and Which is Communistic/Fascist?

In anticipation of the expected meeting tomorrow at the White House between President Obama and China’s President, ABC’s World News with Diane Sawyer reported this evening on the U.S. Government’s/Obama Administration’s efforts to “level the playing field" regarding trade with China. One of the topics of concern to the U.S. Government/Obama Administration is reportedly the continued devaluation of the Chinese currency.

Say what???!?!?!?

If that’s not the proverbial “pot calling the kettle black”. I mean… does our government consider the news viewing public idiotic – or is it merely ABC News that believes the viewers of its news program to be stupid? After such a report that appears totally ignorant of the apparent truth in this matter or, at a minimum, is attempting to not reveal the entire truth of the matter, I likely would not believe anything ABC News reports on the economy.

The United States – via the Federal Reserve System – has been devaluing our currency for most of the last one hundred years with particularly concerted efforts to this end during the last several years [if not decades]. One only needs to review the price of gold [in dollars] for evidence of our devalued currency (or read more of my blog). In fact, I am fairly confident that the Chinese government has re-linked the exchange rate of their currency to the U.S. Dollar a few years ago – displaying that they are not stupid either (see notes below). Therefore, if the dollar continues to become devalued, so in turn will the Chinese currency. Furthermore, unlike the Federal Reserve System and the ‘U.S Dollar,’ to my knowledge the Chinese government was never warned against the escalation of a “currency war” by the European Central Bank (ECB) as was the Federal Reserve System warned of such a few months back by the ECB regarding The Fed’s continued devaluation efforts of the ‘U.S. Dollar’/Federal Reserve Note. What is of particular interest and displayed by stories such as these, is the limited amount of reporting on items such as the continued devaluation efforts of the ‘U.S. Dollar’/Federal Reserve Note, the previously [albeit minimally] reported down-grading of American government securities instruments such as U.S. government bonds (downgraded by the Chinese, at least - and downgraded by others too as I recall, reports of which I can not locate at the time of this writing), and the limited amount of reporting of issues such as the Chinese government’s efforts to protect its financial interests by linking the exchange rate of its currency to the exchange rate of the dollar.

So again I ask, is it the U.S. government (and the Federal Reserve System) and/or ABC News who consider the U.S. general public and network news viewers to be total idiots with absolutely no knowledge of economics and international monetary policy or do these sources of information merely prefer not to report the entire truth? As time has now shown by tonight’s newscast, apparently all of them (ABC News, The Fed, and the U.S. Government) must consider the U.S. public/populace to be completely ignorant of economics and the current realities of international monetary policy. Clearly we can now legitimately ask: Can we no longer trust our news media sources to report the entire truth of any issue to the nation? (A question I have put forth previously, btw. I mean…., concerning truth in reporting by the media as well as the truth regarding the continued devaluation of currency, which is the free nation and which nation is communistic / fascist?

Perpetual Motion Machine to Possibly Generate Electricity.

I think I have devised a perpetual motion machine. What’s more, I think the device could generate electricity as well. Though, to be honest, others may have made the same claim in the past and may have done so with a similar design – I’m not sure at this point in time. But I believe any previous design to this end was probably somewhat different than what I have planned for my design. Then again, time will tell what the eddy current losses have to say as well as those that may have a vested interest against anyone having a potential source of free electricity.

Internet Website/Group, Sorcha Faal, Claims DoD Poison Gas Leak in Arkansas and Subsequent Fishkill Led to Delaware Murder of Gov't Official Wheeler.

As I was surfing the internet for information about the Arkansas bird deaths and fishkill, I came across/was led to an odd looking website that claimed a U.S. Military weapons test led to a poison gas leak. The poison gas leak in turn led to the fishkill in the Arkansas River – either as a result of the leak or as a cover-up of the initial leak. As reported by this group named “Sorcha Faal” on this odd website, quasi or claimed government official, John P. Wheeler III (champion of the Vietnam Vets Memorial in Wash. DC), threatened to go public with the information of the Defense Department’s poison gas leak. As a result of his threat to go public with the information, Wheeler was then murdered with his body being found in Delaware, or so the cause of his murder is reported by the site and potentially suspect group.

The group/individual making these claims goes by the name of “Sorcha Faal” and her “Sisterhood.” The relevant page on their site is:

I have no idea if this is a truthful story or a blatant hoax.

A Google search of the “Sorcha Faal” group revealed that the site is potentially only a hoax and merely a pen name for someone by the name of David Booth – as claimed by some Google search results. However, the group vehemently defends their legitimacy. There are other claims that the group has some connection to Russian Intelligence factions. Again, I don’t know one way or the other.

The story the group reports relevant to the death of Wheeler might be true or it might not. Of course, I have no way of knowing either way. However, I would wonder about the reported timeline of events – as it was widely reported that Wheeler seemed to have disappeared on December 27th and he was found dead in a Delaware landfill on New Year’s Eve day and the fishkill did not materialize until [essentially] a week after his disappearance with the en masse animal death appearing on New Year’s Day. However, I have no idea what poison gas related information Wheeler may have threatened to “Pentagon officials” that he was planning on relaying/taking to the public – as a claimed threat of going public about a “DoD poison gas leak” was made by the internet group. And, of course, the ensuing fishkill in Arkansas as well as the other en masse animal deaths around the world could have been easily orchestrated as a cover-up effort subsequent to whatever event or information that may have upset Wheeler – as such is suggested by the group.

Worth noting, on another page of the group’s website on the group's “alternative news” page, the group claims poisonous clouds from space are causing other en masse fishkills (etc.) around the world. So, I don’t know what to make of the group or its claims. (See: http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1437.htm)

However, news of James P. Wheeler III's murder was reported and claimed as “extremely odd and surprising” (or the likes) by his family, friends, and neighbors. Such an odd killing could seem to be characteristic of a possible murder by an unknown government clandestine/‘spook’ forces, no doubt.

I alerted authorities and other potentially interested parties to the claims of the website and group – whether such claims are worthy of investigation or not. If this information is a hoax or a joke, this person or group that is making any possible false claims in this regard would be clearly ignorant and likely evil. If these claims are truthful, however, we likely would then owe them a debt of gratitude to say the least. Hopefully, time will tell us the answer to such a quandary.

What of Electromagnetic and Directed Energy (and Similar) Weaponry and Recent En Masse Animal Deaths?

Would it not seem possible, if not probable, that some unknown entity has utilized or tested some type of electromagnetic weaponry and such a utilization has caused these “unexplained” en masse animal deaths? This blog is to pose and ponder the possibilities of such a question.

WE are all aware of recent developments in electromagnetic technologies. WE are, of course, aware of the potentially deadly side-effects and potential medicinal uses of electromagnetics as well. WE know electromagnetics seems to be able to diagnose nearly any abnormality in the body. And, of course, WE know that electromagnetics can probably cause leukemia and other forms of cancer. But what of those that merely seek to utilize physical phenomena with the envisioned aim/end to kill any potential enemy? What of the deadly and unknown uses of these phenomena and what of its research and maturation by the “war-machines” of the world? Clearly any potential and low-level testing of such a developed weapon could have the effects to kill simpler life form en masse such as birds and sea creatures – which seem to have some unknown ability to interact which could easily be attributed to some innate sense of electromagnetics.

Of course, we are also aware of our own “war-machine’s” (the U.S.A.’s) recent unveiling of its new Rail Gun – which was widely reported in the media. The rail gun uses and electromotive/electromagnetic force to launch/hurl a projectile potentially hundreds of miles, if not an infinite amount of miles depending on gravity, atmospheric resistance, etc. Surely, of course, we are also aware that such a technology has been under development for decades as well – given the snail’s pace at which our government moves to accomplish anything, if knowing nothing else. (See Youtube video link below for demonstration of the technology.) And, what of similar and/or unknown technologies being developed by our own “war-machines” or the “war-machines” of others? Additionally, there is nothing to suggest that electromagnetic-type weaponry and variations thereof could not be utilized or tested under the sea.

Several years ago, as I was doing my master’s thesis on magnetic bearings, I encountered some technology that was said to be in the process of development by the scientists of the then recently defunct Soviet Union. The said technology was reportedly some type of device that could generate some amount of directed electromagnetic force – somewhat in keeping or similar to modern utilizations of directed force/directed energy technologies (see links below). It was rumored/written that such a technology and force could easily be utilized to kill humans and essentially do no damage to the buildings housing any targeted humans. The utilization and development of potentially deadly and related technologies by the “war machines” of our world could then seem nearly infinite. Furthermore, for instance, what of the U.S. Army’s HAARP program/project (The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) – which looks to accomplish some unknown high altitude manipulations of the ionosphere though electromagnetic/radio waves forces (see links below)?

Again, would it not seem possible, if not probable, that some unknown entity has utilized or tested some type of electromagnetic weaponry and such a utilization has caused these “unexplained” en masse animal deaths? Would it not be to the advantage of our government to downplay these en masse animal deaths if such deaths were the likely result of the testing of our own death-seeking technologies to this end, lest the populace likely demand the dismantling of our “war-machine”? What if some aged scientist of the defunct Soviet Union has since decided to team with one of the many wanna-be “war-machines” of the world to help the “war-mongers” of any smaller/other nation to develop such a technology or any such nation developed such technology of their on fruition and such an unnamed and ignorant nation had recently tested their newly-developed weaponry? Surely, our forces of the western “war-machines” would not invade any nation for merely playing with electromagnets – regardless of the size of the electromagnets and regardless of any claimed good-hearted intentions to save mankind by utilizing the forces of our invading “war-machines” against those experimenting with electromagnetics.

But then again, maybe I am merely ‘crying wolf’ and we can all go back to watching the idiot box that we call television as most governments would surely prefer - television: another electromagnetic technology which prevents/diminishes any inquiring thoughts possibly including any such questions as those posed herein. Should any harm come my way for posing these questions, well I suppose, we would then know the likely answers to my questions and the likely involvement of real-world sinister agents to these unseemly ends, no doubt. Is the Frequency of Events of En Masse Fishkills and Bird-kills Natural and Normal or Cause for Alarm?

Are the levels and frequency of recent and seemingly unexplained en masse fishkills and birdkills normal and a naturally occurring phenomena and only being reported as a result of current piqued interest? Did these events always widely take place and such was never reported as the media assumed no one cared? Like…, are we merely in a lull of slow-news days and the press had nothing else to report and sensationalize of late? I mean…, is this sort of a chicken and the egg type of thing? While surely en masse animal deaths have happened in the past, for whatever the reason/cause, I am inclined to doubt that any prior en masse animal deaths happened with such frequency as these events have occurred over the last week or so.

Surely, many officials and reports argue and claim that the number of recent events is natural and normal. While the wildlife officials might insinuate and tell us that en masse animal deaths happen around the nation and world on a daily basis, many of those deaths appeared as clearly explainable as poisoning, trauma, or disease – or so we were told anyhow, should we care to believe the reported causes. However, the overall amount and the majority of individual occurrences of massive animal death events of late seems to be unexplainable as to cause and, in fact, typically claimed as unexplainable by wildlife officials as well.

The reason why I believe that the frequency and the number of seemingly unexplained events of en masse animal deaths has not happened previously is because as one searches for these events in the past, we can find reports of isolated events chronicled on the internet and elsewhere. Therefore, if these events were being reported as they happened in the past, we would likely be able to ascertain the frequency of such events in the past. However, it does not appear that the recent frequency of these events can be historically matched. But then again, previously, maybe our press and media outlets, in their infinite wisdom - no doubt, may have just assumed we would not care to hear about such en masse animal deaths until lately? Well, one thing we can be sure of, if it all starts to happen like this again in the future, the recent seemingly unnatural frequency of en masse animal deaths is well documented now.

Should WE Ever Be Given the Satisfaction of Laying Any Blame for the Recent En Masse Deaths of Birds and Fish/Sea Creatures…..

Assuming the recent en masse deaths of birds and sea creatures throughout the world ever be determined not a result of climate change or chemical changes in the oceans and such fault is of this earth and not from the cosmos, in early retrospect I would surmise blame would likely fall with one of the following culprits:

Foremost, I would think blame would likely fall with one of the world’s “war-machines.” Because, some years ago, I recall reading of technology reportedly being developed by the Soviets that would have the same end effect as we are seeing with these en masse animal deaths. However, of course, the technology was claimed to be of such a strength whereby the en masse deaths would have been humans, not animals. But, if this technology was realized and such had since been recently utilized or tested or such a hypothetical technology had been sold to one of the ‘scum-bag’ wanna-be war-machines and the technology currently was being tested to a low-level extent, such would easily explain the on-going en masse deaths of the animals. Of course, if the Soviets were around to defend themselves today, naturally they would say the opposite and that the west was the one utilizing and testing such a hypothetical weapon – and who am I to say the Soviets would definitely have been wrong, as far as I know anyhow.

In a tie for the next most likely culprits as to the cause of the recent en masse animal deaths would be the Earth itself for one and the massive oil spill and subsequent clean-up efforts from last year for another. It would seem to me that either of these potential culprits could likely be responsible for much of the recent havoc in the animal kingdom as witnessed throughout the world.

The earth could have potentially developed some gravitational or magnetic fault (temporarily or otherwise), which by the way, could also be a result of war-machine efforts. (I understand that there has been several rumored/reported war-machine efforts that seek to leverage the natural occurring physical properties of the earth, as well, btw.) As simpler life forms, birds and sea creatures would likely appear as more susceptible to spikes or changes in the earth’s electo-magnetic energies.

Also in a tie with the earth as a likely culprit would be the environmental damage caused by the recent massive oil spill and efforts and technologies utilized to clean that mess. There is no telling what effects could manifest themselves in sea life and birds as a result of the massive amounts of spilled oil, methane, and man-made chemical and biological agents that were used to collect and dissipate the spilled oil.

Again, my list of likely culprits is with the given assumptions that such en masse animal deaths were not brought on by something in the cosmos, or the weather, or a significant chemical change somewhere within our oceans or atmosphere that would have such an effect. I am aware that at this point in time such assumptions could be hefty assumptions to make, nevertheless.

Worth mentioning, however, should it ever be determined that these events of en masse animal deaths be the result of intentional human efforts to this end, I would suggest that such evil be removed from our earth by whatever means necessary, of course.

Much of the Mainstream Press Appear to Grow Quiet As En Masse Animal Deaths Continue to Occur Throughout the World!?!?

As the sea creatures and birds apparently continue to die en masse throughout the world, much of the mainstream press outlets seem to have ceased reporting the stories. Surprisingly, as the populace of the world grows increasingly more alarmed over the massive and numerous events of the seemingly unexplained animal deaths around the world, the mainstream press seems to have drawn to a near silence on the matters - at least no reports are appearing on television that I have seen anymore. It would seem that many of the press outlets have become aware of the growing alarm amongst the people and have stopped reporting the occurrences of animal deaths as an apparent attempt to not fuel any potential and growing hysteria. Then again, maybe there is nothing for them to say or, while seemingly unlikely, they don’t know what to say.

In addition to the other en masse events of animal deaths of recent days, now we have thousands of dead crabs washing ashore England and thousands of dead turtle doves in Italy (“…hanging dead from the trees like Christmas balls…”). While the dead crabs have washed ashore for three years now – according to a quote in The Christian Science Monitor and The Examiner, the accompanying dead starfish are claimed as a new occurrence for England (according to the CS Monitor).

Other events include dead birds in West Texas and Tennesee. However, reports quote Texas officials being quick to downplay any relation to other bird deaths around the world and are quoted as stating these hundreds (?) of dead birds are unrelated to the to the other en masse bird deaths. It does appear that such has happened in Texas a few years back and was also seemingly unexplained as well. Additionally, reports of similar bird deaths are coming from the State of Tennessee.

Let’s give thanks where it is due: Thanks Huffington Post for keeping a close eye on these events as well as some other on-line and print media for your continued coverage on these matters and your keeping with your perceived duty to report apparently true facts to the populace – be the truth ugly or otherwise.

Massive Fishkills and Dead Birds Worldwide: Odd Earthly Natural Events, Of Cosmic Origins, Or Humanly Induced?

Or, Conversely and Innocently, Are Such Animal-Death Events a Result of Nature, the Earth, or Could a Far-a-Way and Recently Discovered Super Nova (Supernovae SN2010lt in UGC 3378) Have Any Bearing on the Matter and We as Humans are Merely Ignorant of Such a Fact?

Given the recurring, numerous, and continuing worldwide massive fish kills and dead birds falling from the sky, it would seem that we are being given clues that possibly/surely something has gone awry. Could these animal-death events merely be a result of natural occurrences or a result of oddities here on earth or even chaos in the cosmos? While seemingly unlikely, could these events be natural for these species? Or, for example, could the earth’s magnetic or gravitational fields have gone amuck – temporarily or otherwise? Has some cosmic event or extraterrestrial force been bombarding us with some type of unknown energy for which we have no way of detecting? For instance, could a recently discovered and far-away super nova have any bearing on these matters? (Supernovae SN2010lt in UGC 3378.) Or merely has some simpleton human(s), intentionally or by accident, released some type of poison or radiation into the atmosphere/biosphere of the earth and either no one knows or no one has told us about it - or could some use of microwave or ultra-low frequency technologies (and the likes) or even massive oil spills be to blame? Regardless, it would seem to me that whatever the case may be with these events, our attention to these matters is well warranted and particularly so if these events persist at such a potentially alarming rate.

By the way, while posing such questions, something tells me that maybe we better look to see what type of recent activities and pursuits the war-machines of the world have been up to of late. Lord knows, those entities would surely tell us nothing and use any such inducement of death-related events as warped scientific experiments. Of course, we know of several war-machine projects that could cause these types of massive animal-death events, should those projects ever have been realized or successfully deployed and utilized. Then again, maybe there are some new players in the war-machine arenas who, furthermore, care even less for the environment and care nothing of any type of havoc they may cause or unleash upon the world.

Of course, as we are all aware, such animal death-related events could be clues from yet another unmentioned heavenly entity and serve as warnings of another type of impending event; of which I don’t think I really need to address any further in this blog.

Realistically and to begin with, in my opinion, as a species and for the good of the world and for the good of the other species that reside here, I think we better REVISIT THOSE WAR-MACHINES TYPES AND ASK of them ‘HOWDY, WHAT’S NEW’ ??!!?? And, something tells me we best do it sooner rather than later! WE can and should then reassess after we get answers from the war-machines to the question of their status, methinks.

I’m no biologist, but, WE are aware of the odd resemblance between the class of the bird and the ‘class’ of the ‘fish,’ a resemblance which particularly includes the actions/movements of birds and the actions/movements of fish, right? Meaning WE have always been fascinated how both flocks of birds and schools of fish can seemingly move in unison. It is entirely plausible that these creatures have a sense in common amongst themselves that we don’t understand or some capacity to which we as humans are not privy - meaning that those creatures might be susceptible to something which may only affect humans to a lesser extent, if at all.

President Obama,

Might you be interested in saving a minimum of ten billion dollars ($10,000,000,000) from the Federal budget? All that would be required to initiate this savings is a stroke of your pen to remove one useless and redundant Federal agency from an executive branch department. Other than the jobs lost in boisterous congressional districts, I can almost guarantee that no one would notice the difference and those who might notice would be happy about the loss of the agency and commend you for your budget reduction efforts. I can almost guarantee that you would receive many rave reviews from those in the know in the affected business sectors. Such accolades would be lauded upon you for your budgetary reduction efforts, especially given the reputation for absurdity achieved by this unnamed and inept Federal agency.

Would you like to know who wins the title of the most inept and useless agency in the Federal bureaucracy? Last time I checked, this agency had a budget of approximately eighteen billion dollars ($18,000,000,000) and I’m certain that they have little to show for their efforts as well as our tax dollars.

If you would be interested to know where to find these savings, while at the same time improving credibility with the taxpayers for the wielding of your budget axe, please contact me. I would be happy name the agency of which I speak – and, as a hint, it is not any agency that I have blogged about previously.

I am a bit overdue for this blog and its subject matter. As I have previously posted a derogatory comment about Fox Network (Cable Television) News Channel, I have since realized that Fox Network News should be commended for its attempts to display both sides of controversial current affairs in its reporting of the news. Clearly, regardless of its management's stance on the issue, no other news source seems to make such an apparently legitimate attempt to display both sides of any controversial news stories – at least no other source on a national level tries to show both sides of a story as does Fox News Channel. The CBS Evening News Reported yesterday on President Obama’s latest comments on the war in Afghanistan as saying “…We are on track to achieve our goals...," or something positive to that extent.

School Board Shooting in Panama City, Florida, Reminds Us of the Need to Arm the Law-Abiding Citizenry

For the last two days, CBS Evening News - and every other news outlet - has been reporting of yesterday’s tragic story of the crazed creep that attacked the School Board meeting of the Bay District Schools in Panama City, Florida. Apparently the man had set out to avenge the firing of his wife who had been a teacher in the district until her termination. After taking the male members of the school board hostage during the course of the meeting, it appeared that he intended to kill those board members. Subsequent to the attacker’s shooting at members of the Board, the school district’s head of security appeared in the room and shot the crazed gunman. The gunman then shot himself in the head and died – or so it was reported.

This tragic story, nevertheless, again reminds us of the need to arm our citizenry. It is surely doubtful that this (or any other) crazed creep with a gun would set out to attack law-abiding citizens if the creep believed those he planned to attack were armed with defensive weapons to protect themselves against such an attack. In other words, if the gunman thought everyone in the room might have a gun, it is unlikely that he would have brandished a gun to terrorize, intimidate, or kill innocent citizens. As we all know, criminals with the desire will always be able to obtain deadly weapons. The question remains, however, will our governments allow the law-abiding citizens their Constitutional Right to arms to defend themselves against such violent creeps?

Over 6,000 Earmarks Totaling In Excess of $8,000,000,000 In Latest U.S. Congressional Spending Bill

CBS Evening News reported this evening that the latest spending bill/budget from the U.S. Congress included over six thousand spending earmarks totaling over eight billion dollars. This is in light of the demand for changes and fiscal responsibility expressed by the voters in the last national elections. (Earmarks are special localized expenditures that are buried in the larger spending bill that typically only benefit specific localized interests.) Such shows that our elected officials seem to know nothing of fiscal responsibility. Initially, I think the majority of the Federal politicians regardless of party affiliation supported the spending bill until the news of all the earmarks was made public. Like I have been saying, VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE if the politicians have been in office for any significant length of time!!

An Open Letter to the Clinton High School District (Massachusetts) Concerning Its Football Players Beating a Single Student from Another School

Clinton School District,

I write in response to the widely reported actions of several players on your football team savagely beating a student from another school at a post-game party of a few days ago. As it appears that no less than six of your students have been arrested for beating the other young man to the point of requiring hospitalization and the beaten student being “left for dead” (according to WBZ News at Six O’clock on 12/15), one has to wonder what is being taught to the youth in your school system/district.

Certainly, children’s fights are nothing new to our society - especially after the youths have been imbibing with alcohol. However, what is alarming to most of the civilized citizens of the state [and the nation] is the gang mentality that was displayed by the students of your school district. I wonder, have you forgotten to teach the children and students of your district how to behave as decent individuals and civilized human beings? Mind you, this note is not to say that the parents of the savages from your school system are not somewhat responsible for the actions of their children as well.

Furthermore, I believe myself compelled to ask: Are the children of your school district stupid or are they merely wimps? They can not fight in a one-on-one manner? Are you teaching them to fight in such a savage-gang mentality?

I also believe myself compelled to ask: Would the state not be better served to terminate your school district and enroll the children of your district into schools that may teach your children how to behave as civilized individuals and decent human beings? Would such a reassignment of students to another school district not be a better use of our tax dollars than what is currently being spent on your apparently dysfunctional school district that seems to be preparing savages to be released onto the public at large? I look forward to your response to the issues herein.

The Adam Vernon Trotter Theory of Business Management is simplistic and can be summarized in two words: BE NICE! To be sure, I don’t claim this theory to be especially nouveau nor overly original. However, as I have often been critical of the ways many organizations run their operations, I felt myself compelled to suggest how businesses could be better managed and consequently enjoy greater returns for so doing. To reiterate, in general and particularly when dealing in business matters, adhere to the principle of being nice to one another.

With this theory it is acceptable to be extremely competitive. This theory allows for one to vent frustrations. This theory affords the possibility of defending against any attack. And, yes, this theory even allows for the natural human inclination to respond in kind. However, when pursuing any of these allowances, do not allow mean spirits to guide your actions. When acting in a mean-spirited manner, upon subsequent reflection, even victories seem sullied by comparison. At a minimum, be superficially nice and polite; we all know such has been shown to be sufficient for many in the business arenas.

As an example of an organization that is rarely perceived as being nice to others, the U.S. Federal government is consequently perceived as untrustworthy by most and even despised by many. I would surmise such is so because the Federal government is so rarely nice in its dealings with others. It would seem the Federal government’s business model or modus operandi does not address the possibility of being nice to anyone – even its own employees. As such, it seems nearly everyone that interacts with this entity nearly always tries to take advantage of the U.S. Federal government in business dealings whenever possible.

As another example of an organization that may sometimes take actions to better unnamed aspects of the American nation with no apparent regards of being nice to others, The Federal Reserve System seems to nearly always look for betterment of some with the concurrent intended detriment and at the expense of others. For example, with the latest wave of devaluation of the U.S. Dollar by The Fed, such devaluation was at the expense of the Chinese nation and other creditors abroad. While such a detriment of others may, in fact, help the American nation, in the end it may only create ill-will in those nations that were slighted with the devaluation efforts. As The Fed is perceived as acting for the U.S. Federal government, what will happen if the U.S. Government should ever need to borrow from those slighted creditors again? What will become of the reputation of the American nation when the realities of the devaluation actions become understood by the populace of those creditor nations?

Conversely, of course, any number of successful organizations make concerted efforts to be forthright, friendly, and compassionate towards others in business dealings and post significant returns for so doing. Many of these organizations are well-respected by the consumer/populace in addition to being viewed as a coveted and sought-after employer as well. Though I am not one that steadfastly believes “Goodwill” belongs as an entry on the corporate balance sheet, such an esoteric concept has immeasurable value for several reasons – in my opinion.

I am aware that many may dismiss this theory as too simplistic and not in keeping with the realities of the world. Conversely, to others this theory may come as nothing new. But when acting without the negative intent of inflicting damage upon others, such a course of action nearly always yields better results than when acting to better oneself at the expense of another. Furthermore, I am aware that much of my “Be Nice” theory may be open to subjective interpretation. However, when taking actions to better oneself while clearly so doing is to the detriment of another, any subsequent gain does not come without a cost, regardless if the cost is immediately recognizable or not. As such, there is more to this theory than might be apparent to the short-sighted outlook of any critics who may down play this business model.

As I am not perfect nor am I a saint, I don’t expect anyone else or any entity to be as a perfect saint either. However, if you don’t believe such a simplification of business to be true as such is described herein by the Adam Vernon Trotter Theory of Business Management, give the theory a try and make a conscientious effort to be nice to others in business dealings and then let me know your results. When adhering to this possibly simplistic theory, you will feel better for so doing and I would wager that your gains will significantly increase in the long term and also be more meaningful and rewarding as well.

So what of The Fed’s plan to buy $600B in gov't debt? Any mid-level economics text book says to throw money at the economy, when faced with a liquidity trap. Why do I not think it will work this time? Which brings us to:

President Obama Interview On “60 Minutes” This Evening: Should I Bother to Blog About Nothing?

I was ‘gonna blog about the President Obama interview which aired this evening on the TV show "60 Minutes.” But as I was ‘bout ready to listen to the interview for a second time, I realized that he didn’t say anything about anything - or so it seemed, anyhow. It's like…, why did he even bother to give the interview? More so…, why should I bother to blog about nothing? Maybe I will anyhow, tho'. Obviously, the politicians in Washington don’t understand the reasoning behind the demand for change concerning our government - or they are in denial or they don’t care.

What Would Happen With No U.S. Federal Government Debt?

What would happen if the U.S. Federal government was able to pay off its debt? What would happen if the U.S. Federal government did pay off its outstanding debts and obligations? What would become of the nation’s financial business sectors – particularly those who trade in U.S. Federal government debt? Could one envision why some business and banking sectors would not desire a U.S. Federal government operating ‘in the black’ or having the ability to pay its debts and obligations as it went forward? Should we be anticipating or needing the mainstream American corporate news and press outlets to explain such a hypothetical situation to us?

Could a high powered banking cartel which routinely lends money to the U.S. Federal government have any reason to not desire a U.S. Federal government operating with no need for loans? And, what if the corporate U.S. Federal government was in receivership to this banking cartel and the government was nevertheless able to pay all of its obligations? Would receivership explain much of the enumeration of power to any banking cartel - regarding the commandeering of the U.S. economy by any such banking cartel? Could such a banking cartel ensure that U.S. Federal government was never able to pay the entire balance of its outstanding obligations - would that then be in the best interest of the cartel?

For the upcoming mid-term election tomorrow, might I suggest if any politician has been in office for more than ten years or so: VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE!!!

PERSONALLY, WITHIN THE TIME FRAME OF TWO TERMS OF A U.S. SENATOR (twelve years), I THINK I COULD CHANGE ZEBRAS’ STRIPES. However, with our with our typically elected officials – especially on a Federal level, these ‘leaders’ cant even seem to function to get any of the populace back to work in the last ten years, or so, nor can they seem to solve any other outstanding national difficulties. As such, it seems that OUR TYPICALLY ELECTED FEDERAL OFFICIALS THEREFORE EITHER MUST BE INEPT OR CORRUPT AND MOST LIKELY ONLY OUT FOR THEIR OWN ENDS. SO I SAY WE FLUSH THE LOT OF THEM OUT OF OFFICE – or at least flush the politicians that have been in office for more than ten years, or so.

Furthermore, if a politician has been in office, for say, longer than a decade, they have surely sold-themselves or been bought-out by the nearly criminal Federal Reserve System. This is most likely so, because no normal human being that truly was concerned more for the general welfare of the American populace than for the respective politicians’ own ego, stature, or bank account would support the enumeration of power (from Congress/Legislative Branch to The Fed) which essentially allows for the running of the country to remain with the Federal Reserve. It would seem, any politician that truly cared for the American people would place any such enumerated power of running the nation’s economy (and fiscal and monetary policy) with/to those who swore to uphold the U.S. Federal Constitution and with/to those who would clearly claim a fiduciary responsibility to the American People – unlike the current situation where these enumerated powers are given for convenience to the Federal Reserve System, a system that claims no fiduciary responsibility to anyone outside The Fed's banking cartel while concurrently seeking ‘arbitrage opportunities’ for itself.

Such a grant of power to The Fed, additionally, seems to be prohibited by the very powers enumerated to Congress in this regard; that is, such a grant is surely prohibited by the powers enumerated to Congress by the U.S. Constitution. (See Article I, Section 8, Clause 5.) Neither does it seem necessary or proper to have an outside banking cartel controlling the nation’s economy. And, as Jefferson pointed out, convenience does not properly rationalize the matter.

The U.S. Federal politicians have appeared to allow this enumeration of power to the Federal Reserve to continue and to fester to the obvious detriment of the American People! So with this and any forthcoming election, I believe the time is at hand for these long-seated politicians who would seem to have supported the Federal Reserve System, for these politicians to be removed from office by the voters!

Employer Contributions to Healthcare Insurance Costs To Be Taxed Next Year? In General, No; Unless “Excess Benefits” are Involved.,

So today, I was on the distribution list of a forwarded email which alarmingly claimed that employer contributions to healthcare insurance costs would be taxed as income - starting next year. So, I did some research to ascertain whether this was true or not, prior to my raising the alarm flag on this same issue.

Well…, at first I was unable to find the quoted document in the email: “On page 25 of 29: TITLE IX REVENUE PROVISIONS- SUBTITLE A: REVENUE OFFSET PROVISIONS-(sec.9001, as modified by sec. 10901) Sec.9002.”

As I persevered and continued to peruse through the rumor mill in self-claimed conservative blogs - which never ceased in the criticism of ‘Obama-Care,’ I found a reference that stated the source of the claim of any upcoming increase to taxable income as a result of employer healthcare costs contributions. The blog claimed that Kiplinger’s Taxation Letters and Website had initially warned of increased taxable income as a result of employer contributions to healthcare costs. So, as I researched Kiplinger’s website, I discovered that Kiplinger’s explicitly addressed any claims/credit attributed to Kiplinger that there would be a tax on employer contributions to healthcare costs. Kiplinger emphatically stated that any credit given to them for such a statement was in error. In fact, they say there will not be a tax on such employer provided benefits. So, I was determined to find the actual document and, on the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services website, I did find the document: http://www.healthcare.gov/center/authorities/title_ix_revenue_provisions.pdf .

So, in the end and in general, the answer is no, there will not be a tax on employer contributions to healthcare benefits. Nevertheless, the employer is to include the employers’ healthcare insurance contributions as a line item on the W-2. But the item is not included as taxable income unless the amount totals “excess benefits.”

So, the answer continues, well possibly…. As is often the case with the laws in our nation, the real answer is, in fact, there is a possibility that employer contributions to healthcare benefits could be taxed. As stated in TITLE IX REVENUE PROVISIONS- SUBTITLE A, an excise tax will be assessed on “excess benefits” – with “excess benefits” being “applicable benefits” / employer contributions of over $8300 for a single employee and over $23000 for an employee and family in fiscal year 2013.

So the final answer is that it is unlikely that one will be taxed for employer contributions to healthcare costs unless they are being given ‘excess benefits.’ At least, according to my brief and cursory research.

Does this begin to explain the matter? Of course, what the future may hold in this regard is anyone’s guess at this point in time.

New X-Ray Truck to Search Unsuspecting Moving Vehicles on Roadways

Today on Fox Cable News, a new vehicle was profiled. This vehicle is a truck outfitted with [high-powered] x-ray gear to inspect the contents of unknowing vehicles that happen alongside this x-ray truck. Of course, any such x-ray inspection is without the knowledge of the occupants of any targeted vehicle. No information was reported as to the dosage of radiation to which the occupants of targeted are subjected.

I have to wonder, is there no end to which the authorities will stretch/diminish our Rights under the Federal Constitution? Has the Right against Unlawful Search and Seizure merely become a challenge to our authorities and politicians as to how thin this Right can be stretched before the same fascist-type authorities are held accountable for their disregard of the Peoples’ Rights? Clearly, it would seem that for a long time, many of our government authorities would have preferred no Rights existed to protect the People against Unlawful Search and Seizure. (If you don’t know of any specifics of which I speak, just ask.)

I mean…, the thing is…, on one hand, if this technology were able to prevent my having to stop and was to prevent the threat of search of my vehicle at the Border Patrol Station when traversing from San Diego to Los Angeles on the Interstate 5 Freeway, that would be great. But if this x-ray vehicle is going to be utilized by local authorities to search our vehicles without our knowledge or consent, then I would say that it appears fascism is again on the rise in the United States – with such fascism apparently again being promoted by our government authorities. Of course, I could envision situations where such x-ray truck technology would be of benefit. However, the overall threat to our basic Rights and the threat to our health by being subjected to any such radiation would seem to outweigh any possible benefits.

Once again, by allowing this x-ray truck technology to make its way to the streets, it would appear that the nation’s dysfunctional Court Systems, lawyers, and politicians care little of the substantive Rights of the American people and appear to only care what benefits the ends of the would-be fascists in positions of power. This matter also brings to mind the quote attributed to Benjamin Franklin: “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Yesterday, it was reported on Los Angeles Radio (KNX 1070AM) that the Federal Reserve System (The Fed) plans to buy back some of the Federal government’s outstanding debt. The Fed said this move would hopefully stimulate economic growth - by putting more dollars into the economic markets. Later the same day (or the next morning European time) the European Central Bank warned against perceived currency wars whereby currencies would be continually devalued to gain an advantage in exchange rates relevant to the exporting of goods. This evening, it was reported on San Diego’s Fox Radio affiliate (600 AM) that the dollar hit a fifteen-year low in exchange rates against the Japanese yen. Also today, it was reported that the value of an ounce of gold attained a record high dollar value of approximately thirteen-hundred and seventy-five dollars ($1375/ounce).

Despite the fact that the Federal Reserve System claims no fiduciary responsibility to the American nation, one could argue that the long continued effort by The Fed to forever devalue the dollar will help the American nation and workforce by stimulating exports as the dollar would then be less valued than the currency of foreign nations that buy our exports. However, as the fiat dollar has been devalued for decades on end to date, the continued devaluation is a likely culprit to the continued economic depression to which the nation is currently afflicted. Therefore, any continued devaluation of the dollar is likely another as yet unforeseen debt to be paid by the populace or by our future descendants.

Also worthy of note, to continue decreasing the value of the dollar aids any presidential administration by inflating prices which helps with any economic reporting concerning the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). If the GDP were shown to increase because of the devalued dollar, then the current economic recession/depression officially could be ended by the definition of a recession (which is dependant on a repeatedly decreased GDP). Any official ending of the recession/depression is to the political advantage of any administration in power. But a devalued dollar also increases prices which severely hurts the American people. (Remember when a gallon of gas cost five dollars a few years back? Most of the increased price was probably due to a devalued dollar, not the oil producers trying to gouge us.) However, such a numbers game to reflect a better economy is nothing new - regardless of the presidential election drawing closer. But as The Fed has no stated fiduciary responsibility to the president either, if The Fed moves to better the economic appearances of the presidential administration, one can only wonder what type of relationship truly exists between the White House and The Fed. For instance, do the President and his people have all their asset holdings in gold as well, or is The Fed actually trying to help the American people?

Reiterating the point of many of my previous blogs/diatribes, as The Fed maintains no fiduciary responsibility to the American people and The Fed, of course, has massive gold holdings, one can only make assumptions as to what is the true intent of any actions taken by the U.S. Federal Reserve System. That is, are the actions of The Fed to benefit the American people or to further line the pockets of those in power at The Fed and those in power within our government? As our politicians, court systems, state governments, and lawyers don’t seem to have any distaste for this forever continued devaluing of our currency nor do they seem to have any other difficulties with any actions or on-going policy regime at The Fed, one sooner or later has to assume that the lawyers, state governments, court systems, and politicians must also be profiting by the continued policy regime of the Federal Reserve System – a policy regime which is arguably nearly criminal. As such, I must wonder, do the lawyers, court systems, and politicians have all their asset holdings in gold as well?

Anyway, is anyone out there still waiting for ‘change.’? Well, you just got some change, that is to say, more change in the form of the further-decreased value of the dollar. Sometimes I wonder if by merely insinuating these types of questions as in this blog, whether one may need to seek political asylum in a nearby neighbor nation.

Update, November 9th, 2010:
Over the last few days, it has been widely reported that the Chinese government is warning against this move by the Fed in that such an infusion of dollars, according to the Chinese, will cause widespread instabilities in the [currency and debt] markets. Duh, ya’ think? To their credit, though, the Chinese did catch on before the Fed really took them to the cleaners any further, anyhow. It’s been said that the Chinese have sold off much of their holdings in US Government debt some months ago (back in February), regardless.

On the Federal Government and on Governments in General…

Governments should not be concerned with protecting every individual from one’s own stupidity. Neither should governments look to profit from such stupidity either. And, merely on specific and limited fronts, should governments be concerned with protecting the individual from the stupidity of others. People should be empowered to protect themselves as they are able until the point whereby extraneous government intervention might be needed.

As for this blogger’s repeated critiques concerning the actions of the governments across our land and particularly for his repeated critiques of the U.S. Federal government, the point is not to merely focus on negative energy – such a focus that I prefer to avoid. The point of complaining and blogging about the failures and shortcomings of our nation’s governments is to highlight issues with hopes to remedy any noted shortcomings to better the overall situation for all. Surely, no one entity is expected to be perfect all the time. However, when an error in course is clearly illuminated, then such an error should demand an all-hands effort to recognize and repair the revealed fault – such as with the current state of the nation’s economy. Furthermore, mere words are typically not sufficient to repair the necessary, overlooked, and damaged staples of any given system.

Concerning the Federal Reserve System and Fiduciary Responsibility….

The point of all my prior diatribes and rants on this subject of the Federal Reserve System is that if any organization – public or private – is given the economic advantage of essentially controlling the fiscal and monetary policy of the United States, then at a minimum, said organization should claim a fiduciary responsibility to the government and people of the United States of America. Preferably and presumably, if not obviously, it would seem best that such an organization be an arm of the U.S. Federal government which is therefore sworn to uphold the U.S. Federal Constitution. However, reiterating from earlier blogs, the Federal Reserve System (The Fed) is not part of the United States Federal government and neither does it clam any fiduciary responsibility to the people of the United States nor any fiduciary responsibility to the Federal government of the United States (which of course would equate to a fiduciary responsibility to the people of the United States by default).

In the end and at the risk of sounding arrogant, to date, it is likely that I [operating in a single-handed mode] could have done a better job controlling the economy of the United States then what has been accomplished by the banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve System. Moreover so, by the fact that I would have always acted in the best interest of the people of the United States! That’s not to say, arguendo, that all policy regime pursued by The Fed has necessarily been to the detriment of the people of the United States. I’m just saying better results likely could have been accomplished by nearly anyone. Better results with the nation’s economy could also have been likely achieved by having no such organization resembling the government-empowered Federal Reserve System.

Clinton-Era Political Tactics Seem Alive and Well and Being Utilized Against Non-Establishment Candidates

With the upcoming general elections across the land, it appears that Clinton-Era political tactics are alive and well. What are Clinton-Era political tactics you might ask? Per my definition, Clinton-Era political tactics include personally attacking an adversary in any political election with the intent of these attacks merely to publicly sully the targeted adversary - regardless of who launches the attack or if any foundation exists for the attack. We can see this type of political tactics currently being utilized in an apparent widespread manner in the gubernatorial elections in California and New York in addition to the U.S. Senate race in Delaware. I am not overly surprised, however, that such Clinton-Era attacks seem only to be focused upon non-establishment candidates such as those in the races noted above.

What should a candidate do to avoid the typical fate of becoming political road-kill when battling focused and concerted Clinton-Era-type politically motivated personal attacks? Well, to be brief, the embattled candidate should hire me to help them field these attacks. Long ago, I became well-versed at nullifying such attacks launched by mean-spirited simpletons – as such describes many in the Federal workforce where I worked for fifteen years. However, short of employing me to make lemonade of the political lemons being thrown, any viable political entity under attack should learn the ABC’s of these Clinton-Era tactics and reverse the tide against the attackers – to be concise. If one is unable to do this then they should call me.

IN these days when the decent folks of our nation are trying to end senseless violence amongst our citizenry, one has to wonder, what’s up with the simpletons at the Shasta Beverages Company, and what’s up with the simpletons at Volkswagen of America as well?

IN their firms' commercials that repeatedly air on our television, Shasta Beverages Company prefers to hit people in the head with full twelve-ounce cans of their soda?!? While Volkswagen of America, for their part, merely prefers we physically strike/hit/punch each other on the arm when we see one of their cars!?! As A Nation, Should U.S. Consumers Boycott Shasta beverages and Volkswagen vehicles as a result of their promotion of senseless violence?

I SAY: YES!!

IN these days when the decent and kind folks of our great nation are attempting to stop idiot creeps from lashing out with senseless violence toward innocents, we have two major and well-known corporations filling our airwaves with commercials which focus on nothing but senseless violence against unsuspecting and distracted innocent by-standers. Are these companies so out of touch with the realities of our nation that they think the best way to get our attention is through senseless and unprovoked violence against innocent individuals?

MAYBE ITS TIME WE GIVE THESE COMPANIES A WAKE-UP-CALL AND BOYCOTT ALL THE PRODUCTS OF THOSE FIRMS UNTIL THOSE FIRMS LEARN A BETTER WAY TO MARKET THEIR PRODUCTS OTHER THAN WITH THE WIDESPREAD DISPLAY AND PROMOTION OF SENSELESS VIOLENCE AGAINST INNOCENT BYSTANDERS!!!

Of course, I am aware that hurling full cans of sodas through the air to strike unsuspecting human targets in the head to make them aware of the Shasta product is intended as humor, sarcasm, or even satire. And, I am aware that the suggestion of hitting an acquaintance standing nearby on the arm to make them aware of the new and different Volkswagens that happen by – as opposed to the old ‘punch buggy’ bugs/Beatles, is if of this same genre of message; be it sarcasm, satire, or humor. However, I am merely suggesting that if we truly seek to end the proliferation of senseless violence in our society – a society where it appears that many have lost all common sense regarding senseless violence, we should not accept the promotion of senseless violence by corporations seeking to market their products. Furthermore, I suggest that it is time we pass this message of ending senseless violence to marketers and corporations that don’t seem to be aware or care of the senseless violence they are promoting, even if such is done under the veil of humor.

Include Soup Kitchens in the Next Federal Stimulus Bill to Address Rampant, Widespread, and Ever-Increasing Poverty in Our Nation?

Given these days of endless unemployment benefits for those that were lucky enough to become unemployed at the proper time for these endless benefits, I have to ask, what about those that became unemployed before the endless benefits were approved and are not privy to such benefits? Given that we seem to be emerging as a welfare state, maybe its time we bring back the soup kitchens of the 1930’s Depression to ensure the populace and their children don’t starve – regardless of whether these folks qualify for food-stamps or not. And, what of those that are unable to walk around with their hand-out for free money from the government such as with endless unemployment benefits? Soup kitchens might be the answer. Furthermore, maybe its time we begin to ‘set in for the long haul’ and address the rampant and ever-increasing levels of poverty in our nation. To ensure that people can eat, soup kitchens seem to be an idea whose time has returned.

Clearly, entire industries and segments of the economy have gone away with no return in sight. And, with as many as 75% of the workforce unemployed or under-employed, we are blessed with a government that has become so out of touch with reality that it likely relies on organizations such as the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). The NBER is widely reported to have claimed the ‘recession’ has ended as of sometime last year. I mean…, this bureau – though merely a nonprofit organization - seems as useless as the Federal agency that was supposed to be controlling the off-shore drilling over the recent years – the MMS (Minerals Management Service, Dept. of Interior). I understand that much of any macro-economic condition is a likely result of perception. That is, if the banks, businesses, and general public were to believe that the economic situation was better, banks would lend money to businesses again, businesses would likely hire additional employees, and many would begin spending additional monies which would likely help to end the current recession/depression. Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy type of thing. But I think the timing for such an orchestrated smoke-screen of deception (or tepid inspiration) by any economic reporting agency or by the Federal government has long since passed.

Of course, maybe the recession has long since ended for the wealthy that surely became smart enough to follow the lead of the Federal Reserve System and put all their money in gold – surely the wealthy and The Fed have made unimaginable profits of late with the never-ending devaluation of the U.S. Dollar. And maybe the ‘recession’ is over for the corporate leaders that refuse to hire employees and prefer to work their current employees ‘to the bone’ with massive amounts of overtime to squeeze more profits – as productivity is reported to be at an all time high! But with the numbers of people living below the poverty level reported to be at an all-time high and looks to ever-increase for the near-term future, maybe its time we start to rethink everything! ‘Tea Party’ Primary Election ‘Upsets’… The Typical Establishment Powers Would Seem Unable to Understand Any Underlying Election Results Message.

In reviewing yesterday’s primary election results that handed the Republican Party nominations for several national and gubernatorial offices to reformist ‘Tea Party’ Republican candidates, the ‘mainstream’ media and political parties continue to show the arrogance and ignorance of those biased established entities which has mandated the need for such a reformist ‘Tea Party’ from the onset. Furthermore, the matter of the ‘Tea Party,’ in my opinion, has less to do with conservative or liberal political leanings than meaningful political reform in keeping with the U.S. Federal Constitution – regardless of the political leanings of any that may align themselves with, or claim to speak for, the ‘Tea Party’ group. Concerning the victorious ‘Tea Party’ candidates in yesterday’s primary elections across the nation, the typical media, the establishment Democrats, and the establishment Republicans surely can not fathom the message that is being sent by the voters that supported the election ‘upsets’ as the establishment forces prefer to not acknowledge any need for real change and desire no real change as they, themselves, orchestrated the current system which would seem to support the self-serving need for these establishment forces to maintain the dysfunctional system.

I don’t necessarily blog to support the ‘Tea Party’ or its candidates. I don’t necessarily blog to say that I support the just demands for required reform in our nation’s government(s). I merely blog to say that the typical establishment entities (such as much of the nation’s media as well as the Democratic and Republican parties) seem so blinded by ignorance and arrogance and appear so far removed from the average American that those entities - as they currently exist - are unlikely to ever understand any message sent by the average American. These stated establishment forces can not understand any message for reform from the populace because the establishment forces surely would prefer that the dysfunctional system remain as it is currently – as it was these same establishment forces that engineered this faulty and often morally corrupt system as it now stands which supports those same establishment forces currently in positions of power. As such, to support their ends, clearly the typical establishment forces seem to prefer to demonize the potentially reformist ‘Tea Party’ at nearly every opportunity.

As Examples:
1. The mainstream media and press of the ‘establishment’ seem, in general, to display that voting for a ‘Tea Party’ candidate would be a likely waste of a vote and would hurt the conservative Republicans’ chances of gaining seats in the legislature (per Bob Sheiffer and others on the CBS “Evening News” this evening). It would seem that the monopolistic media sources desire no significant change as they are currently ‘fat and happy’ and ‘on top of the food chain.’

2. The Democratic Party seems, in general, to display the ‘Tea Party’ folks to be radical conservatives that are too radical and too conservative for the mainstream voters to support in the upcoming general election. The Democrats also seem to desire to spread fear of the reformists with the hopes that such a fear will entice voters in the general election to support the mainstream candidates – that is, to support Democratic candidates that likely reflect the typical ideals of the ‘establishment’ that allowed our country to evolve to it’s current economic and political mess. As an example, Democratic Party strategist Ms. Task (?) on CBS’s “The Early Show” this morning spoke of ‘Tea Party’ folks as likely buffoons that ‘…seek to end Civil Rights legislation…’

3. The Republican Party seems to prefer, in general, to display these ‘Tea Party’ folks as not viable candidates much for the same apparent reasoning of the Democratic Party. Some Republican Party chapters of our nation were reported to be so disgusted with the election of ‘Tea Partiers’ that the respective state Republican Parties were apparently considering withholding election funds from these ‘Tea Party’ Republican candidates.

Regardless of any glimmers of truth that may or may not be reflected in the viewpoints of the typical mainstream media or by either of the mainstream political parties (viewpoints as surmised directly above), these establishment entities are likely to be totally out-of-touch with the current American voters and therefore unable to understand what yesterday’s election ‘upsets’ represent and what sentiment is likely being voiced by these voters who have been afforded the opportunity to express themselves in such a regard.

As the establishment groups can not fathom the message, for whatever the reason, one should probably disregard the commentary of these reviewers concerning the election ‘upsets’ from yesterday that would try to display the ‘Tea Party’ candidates in any negative fashion – irrespective of whether such a characterization is warranted or not. This is because the forces of the establishment powers (the media, the Democrats, and the Republicans) appear as currently blinded and overly constrained by their typical arrogance and ignorance which has allowed these establishment groups to support the near-ending of the American dream and the American way of life as such is represented by our current dysfunctional governments across the land – should these groups be aware of their erroneous paradigms or not.

I would suspect that these establishment entities will be in store for a rude awakening come the general election in November as well as future elections in years to come. I would hope these establishment forces that allowed for the continued decay of our American society and way of life while concurrently lining their allies’ pockets with the American tax-payers’ money will themselves be on the endangered political species list.

The message includes: OUST THE TYPICAL POLITICIANS WHO HAVE SUPPORTED AND ALLOWED FOR THE BANKERS AND WALL-STREETERS TO RUN RAMPANT AND TO STEAL AS MUCH AS THOSE INSTITUTIONS COULD GRAP AND THEN REIMBURSED ANY LOSSES OF THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WHEN THE THEIVERY WENT AMUCK– ALL AT THE EXPENSE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE,

3. The message includes: GET RID OF THE POLITICIANS WHO HAVE FOSTERED/NURTURED LEGISLATION WHICH ALLOWED FOR THE CONTINUED PROSTITUTION OF OUR AMERICAN BIRTHRIGHT AND AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE WHENEVER SUCH PROSTITUTION OF OUR BIRTHRIGHT BENEFITED ANY CORPORATE OR FINANCIAL ENTITY,

4. The message includes: GET RID OF THE POLITICIANS WHO HAVE ALLOWED FOR THE DOMINATION OF GOVERNMENTS ACROSS THE LAND THAT RARELY SEEM TO CARE OF THE CONERNS OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER – AND OFTEN SEEM TO CARE LITTLE ABOUT COMMON-SENSE,

5. The message includes: OUST THE POLITICIANS WHO WOULD SUPPORT A SYSTEM THAT REWARDS THE WASTING OF TAX-DOLLARS AND FAULTS FISCAL AND FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY,

The message includes: GET RID OF THE TYPICAL POLITICIANS WHO HAVE ALLOWED FOR THE AMERICAN PUBLIC TO BE DENIED SUBSTANTIVE RIGHTS, JUDICIAL REVIEW, AND JUSTICE FROM THE VERY SAME JUSTICE SYSTEMS THAT WERE ORIGINALLY ENACTED TO PROTECT THE WELL-BEING OF THE NATION AND ITS POPULACE AND HAVE SINCE DEGRADED TO SYSTEMS THAT SEEM TO PREFER FAVORITISM.

With all due respect to the construction workers at the site, the Ground-Zero site of the former World Trade Center Complex is a cemetery!! Any firm that opens an office there would seem to be foolish! Anyone that would work on a daily basis in any replacement buildings in such a cemetery would seem a bigger fool! This matter is another example of the greed showed by corporate America. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the owner of the site, can’t simply just take a loss (after any insurance settlements, of course) and make the place a memorial park?

What are the U.S. Labor Unions Doing During this “Great Depression” of the New Millennium?

WITH the passage of the recent Labor Day Holiday and in this time of massive unemployment and during the midst of “The Great Depression” of the new millennium, one has to ask: What are the labor unions doing to get the unemployed back to work? Recently, one could hear the local union president for a nearby county local chapter of a major union state on the radio of how upwards of two-hundred thousand (200,000) of his union members had no work. On the other hand, it is being widely reported that national productivity is at an all-time high; meaning that employed workers are being heavily over-worked so that no new hires are necessary for any given company. So, it would seem about time that the question is posed as to what are the labor unions and their leadership currently doing to help the populace?

It would appear that modern-day union leadership has become like the typical politician whereby they seem only to care about themselves as they are ‘fat and happy’ on the ‘top of the food chain.’ In fact, much of the labor union leadership appear to be doing less than the average politician to right the nation’s current situation other than to vehemently back the campaigns of one politician or another. While many of the union rank and file, however, appear to have been left behind and those over-worked and under-employed workers may often have no union representation at all under which to voice their concerns that more employees or better wages are likely to be necessary.

As the labor unions may well have provided much of the impetus for corporate America to move many of our jobs off-shore, the modern union leadership appears content to allow unemployed workers to remain destitute and the over-worked workers to remain fatigued and likely unrepresented. One must wonder, is much of the typical union leadership now in the ‘back pocket’ of corporate America and beholden to listless politicians and is the union leadership content to make minimal efforts to help the workers of the nation? If so, maybe its time for new labor unions or at least new leadership that cares for the well-being of the workers of the nation.

It seems that latest proposed stimulus bill which states a goal of rebuilding infrastructure is to reward the labor unions for their support of the Obama administration. Apollo 11 Videos: Lunar Landing and Lunar ‘First Steps’

Finally, after the occasional internet searches over the last several years, I have at last found the Apollo 11 lunar landing videos. (http://history.nasa.gov/alsj/a11/video11.html#Step ) Believe it or not, these clips were nearly impossible for me to find on the web until now. Thanks for that, NASA.

Now, my wish list from NASA would be fulfilled if I could acquire the following items from that Agency:

1. Skylab II wake-up call video shown live on national U.S. television which, as far as I know, was the last live television feed showing the depths of outer-space. In this video, as I recall, one can see an apparent spherical 'craft' in near outer space and this ‘craft’ was not part of the Skylab mission – a clip [infra-red exposure] which was always shown on the beginning trailer of the early episodes of the television show “The X Files.” This is another clip which historically has been surprisingly difficult for me to find, which is surprising because the clip was shown on countless television channels for years on end and a clip that seems to have since disappeared.

And,

Want a Stimulus Bill that May be Attractive to All? Pay-Off the Nation’s Student Loan Debts!!!

With any upcoming U.S. Federal stimulus funds, why not pay-off the citizenry’s student loan debts and give the up-and-coming generation a fighting chance to get ahead in the modern era of decreased labor demand, minimal American manufacturing, a decreased dollar value, inflated educational costs, inflated prices, and stolen birthrights?

…And such a plan seems like a ‘win – win’ situation….

…‘cause…

All the stimulus monies would go directly to the banks and financial institutions, just as previous stimulus monies have essentially been awarded up to this point in time…..which, of course, will keep the banks very happy and such would likely please the politicians that seem to care foremost for the banks and secondarily for their constituents. Additionally, not having to pay the massive student loans would free up money for recent graduates; money with which they may likely buy property and bolster the currently devastated real estate markets.

The Time to ‘Shred the Fed’ Appears to be At Hand.

It appears the time is at hand to ‘Shred The Fed;’ that is to say, the time is at hand to shred/dismantle The Federal Reserve System. This non-governmental agency and band of likely criminals has been controlling our nation of THE UNITED STATES for too long (likewise, for any other name by which they choose to label our country or themselves). Any delegation of Congressional power to the banking cartel known as ‘The Federal Reserve System’ to control our nation’s currency system is clearly unconstitutional (per U.S. Federal Constitution, Article I, Section 8; and Article VI as well). The nation’s politicians, the nation’s judges, and the nation’s lawyers should clearly know - by now – of this unjust and unconstitutional practice concerning the allowance of The Fed to control our money supply. Those in positions of power and 'in the know' regarding the unconstitutionality of The Federal Reserve System are either part of the problem or care more for their personal bank accounts than they care for the well-being of the nation’s populace and likewise more than they care to uphold the Federal Constitution. Clearly, even Thomas Jefferson himself stood in opposition to any such Federal Bank as The Federal Reserve System. Even if assuming, arguendo, The Fed is not is not a band of criminal elements seeking to line their own pockets with wealth at the expense of the American people (and at the expense of the rest of the world’s inhabitants as well), The Federal Reserve System has, of late, clearly been shown to be ineffectual and inept at maintaining a steady course for the nation’s economy. As such, there appears no reason to maintain this bastion of ineptitude that we know as The Federal Reserve System. Furthermore, The Fed obviously claims no fiduciary responsibility to the American people nor to our government - and apparently the Fed seems to only exist to ensure the U.S. Federal government maintains a significant debt level into the distant future. And, as no one knows whether the actions of The Fed actually produce any realistic outcome/change – other than change for the bankers and financial institutions themselves, The Fed appears to have accomplished nothing but a ‘con-man’s’ ‘scam’ on the nation while concurrently robbing us of our birthright and any intrinsic value of our dollar as well. If you don’t believe me on this point, simply look at the price of gold and the value of the dollar over the last eighty years (approximately) that the Fed has been in power controlling our nation’s money supply. And worthy of note, why was it illegal for Americans to hold gold for so many years, once the Federal Reserve System took the reigns of the nation? So again I state: It appears the time is at hand to ‘Shred the Fed’!!! It appears the only way to possibly accomplish such a feat is to rid our nation of all the elected officials that have consistently allowed this scam known as ‘The Federal Reserve System’ to maintain its existence and power over the nation. It would appear that the list of elected officials that have allowed this situation and ‘scam’ to manifest itself to its current level would include nearly every politician elected to date since the Great Depression of the 1930's – at least nearly every politician on a Federal level, and this list would also include every official in power in our justice systems as well (judges, lawyers, etc.). Clearly, there has never been any change in ‘policy regime’ since The Fed assumed power, at least no change in policy regime that was not to the benefit of The Fed and no change that was not perpetrated against the populace – regardless of any promised ‘change’ by any Federally elected official. Notwithstanding, the likely criminal nature of the existence of The Federal Reserve System and its control of our currency has become so entrenched in our society and our nation that only Congressional power could possibly hope to correct this long-standing wrong. Personally, I am inclined to believe that much of the political activities (such as wars), nationwide social woes (such as racial tensions), and in-fighting within the ranks of those in power in our nation are merely an orchestrated ‘smoke-screen’ to hide the likely true criminals of nation we know as ‘The Fed’ and its allies in positions of power throughout our society.

To be clear, I am no supporter of socialism or communism; such fascist-type ideas are unnecessary for our nation, in my opinion. Our nation merely needs leaders that care for the well-being of the populace more than the dollar amounts infused into any respective leader’s bank accounts – that is, a proper and just leader should care more for other concerns rather than monies amassed during the never-ending pursuit of the long-standing prostitution of the American Birthright.

When the U.S. Federal Government Subjectively Ignores Anti-Discrimination Laws…..

When the U.S. Federal Government subjectively and openly ignores employment discrimination laws during the course of its own employment practices (as it does currently) and only pursues enforcement of racial and ethnic anti-discrimination laws depending on the race/ethnicity of those being subjected to discrimination (a practice reportedly to have been stated by the current U.S. Attorney General), one has to wonder how long the private sector employers will honor and adhere to anti-discrimination laws as well? I surmise much of the mainstream will follow the lead of the Federal government employer and ignore anti-discrimination employment laws and consequently favoritism and nepotism will become even more widespread in the workplace than the nearly epidemic levels to which these practices already currently exist.

Age Discrimination Not Considered as a Possible Subject of Concern By the U.S. Department of Labor?

Of course, widespread age discrimination appears to have long been a likely hindrance to many gaining employment. Being ignorant to the reality of the apparently widespread and accepted practice of age discrimination as typically displayed by the employers of the United States would certainly be a mistake. As an example of the apparent acceptance of age discrimination, the U.S. Department of Labor's website doesn’t even list age discrimination as a topic under which one can contact that department.

I mean..., am I mistaken? Age discrimination is supposedly illegal, right? All this despite the recent and repeated disregard for anti-discrimination laws by the U.S. Court systems, legislators, and employers, it still is illegal, isn't it? Not that I personally would consider age to be a handicap, but maybe there aren't many of us around anymore that care to help those that are in need of such help. Because the anti-discrimination laws, in general, appear as nothing more than meaningless words on paper - all to the apparently disinterested eyes of our elected and government officials and court systems.

To the Gulf coast states and communities that are/will be affected by this never-ending Deepwater oil well spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, as fellow Americans you will not be forsaken in this matter. There are many of us waiting to come and help you in this matter, when and if we can – I’m sure. You understand, at this point, the powers-that-be are discouraging us from physically coming to help clean up the oil mess arriving on your shores – preference appears to be currently given to the residents of your state penitentiaries for this task. Have no doubt; we will eventually come to help, nevertheless. Should you need us sooner than your State and Federal governments wish to admit, then you should sound the call for our assistance with or without your governments’ blessing. We will answer your call for aid to help in this clean up effort. Either way, as fellow Americans, I don’t believe the rest of us will allow you and your beaches to ‘take it on the chin’ for the rest of the nation. As I said above, you will not be forsaken in this matter. I will not forsake you in this matter.

Of course, be aware, if the governments and corporations involved in this environmental disaster were inclined to pay some amount of wage and/or a portion of the prohibitive expenses for help to arrive (such as lodging, gasoline, and food), such would be beneficial as well - given the millions of currently unemployed citizens with time to help but no means to do so, no doubt.

Rare-Earth Metals Abundant in Afghanistan?

It was reported on several news sources this evening (Fox Cable News for one), that a report was released by the U.S. Department of Defense that "over one trillion dollars of rare-earth metals are likely to be found in the ground of Afghanistan" and such mineral deposits may likely amount to be the "Saudi Arabia of lithium" – a rare earth metal used for batteries and keeping a person mentally ‘balanced’ as well.

I wonder, how long has this information been known to the Pentagon and the corporate world? Is this a true motivating factor for on-going military actions in Afghanistan? What caused the U.S. military to determine this information? Aren’t they in Afghanistan for reasons other than exploring for rare-earth minerals? As such, is this military action in Afghanistan being continued in anticipation of the Chinese government’s expressed intentions to decrease its exportation of rare-earth metals to the rest of the world (as reported on PBS National News this evening, New York WNET TV Channel 13)?

I mean…., is this all a coincidence or is there no end to the dishonesty and evil that can emanate from Washington and the corporate world?

Given such a quandary as to what motivates modern U.S. military actions, I have to wonder, could there be any amount of truth to the conspiracy theories that claim the incident that brought us to Afghanistan in the first place was orchestrated so that we would go and control this reported windfall of rare-earth metals? I hope not. But where are all the bad guys and our reported enemies in these regions? Are the bad guys in this region living in cobalt and titanium caves smoking lithium laced opium? Either way, could they really be a threat to us any longer – assuming, arguendo, that they were ever any threat all? Whose fight is being fought in Afghanistan and what is the desired outcome? How and when will victory ever be declared? Is victory defined as when the west controls all these rare-earth metals in the ground of Afghanistan?

As Americans, are we still allowed to ask questions such as these?

[As much as this blog is to show the blunders of the current presidential administration during this on-going environmental disaster, it is a testament to the ineptitude of our Federal government system to effect any meaningful result when the nation desperately needs action. Such Federal government ineptitude, as seen in this matter, was not solely invented with the latest administration, however – I can assure you.]

Concerning the seemingly never-ending environmental disaster in the making, the biggest U.S. Federal government mistake / most idiotic government decision of the new millennium would be the timing of the recent US Federal Government’s promise to hold BP Corporation legally responsible for both criminal wrong-doings and, of course, civil damages and liabilities associated with the oil spill / well leak in the Gulf of Mexico; with such a promise being put forward at a point in time in which the government most needs BP’s full cooperation to curtail the disaster environmentally - and politically.

As a simple example of the stupidity of such a legal threat/promise, what do even the most elementary of minds know to do when threatened with criminal legal action? What does every attorney tell a client to do when facing criminal action? SAY NOTHING, THAT”S WHAT!!!! Do you think BP might be listening to its lawyers regarding this matter?

The point of the matter is that the nation and the environment desperately need BP’s help and resources to clean up this mess. As the government has shown us time and time again, it can charge anyone with any infractions of ‘law’ anytime it desires. The defendant is then typically allowed to defend itself. As the government has also shown us time and time again, it can entice the judges to sweep the government’s wrong-doings under the carpet and out of sight. So, what would anyone have to gain by threatening the corporate executives of BP at this point in time? We need to fix the problem first.

So, in the end….., the disaster goes on…and on….and…..

PS. The Government should enlist some of the others that say they might have valid solutions to the oil spill disaster! However, I’m confident that the civilian employees of our government are of the mindset that if the government employees can’t fix a problem, no average citizen will be able to either. It appears the Federal government’s own arrogance will swallow them whole in this matter. And, regardless of whose administration, the modern Federal government is plenty full of arrogance, from top to bottom - from what I have ever seen of it.
