Hofstra Killing: More ‘Liberal Agenda’ Absurdities!

May 19th, 2013

To begin with, I wish to pass along my condolences to the victim and to her friends and family as well as to the Hofstra University community for their loss.  The victim, Ms. Andrea Rebello, appears as yet another martyr to the absurdities of our times.

With regrets…,

The recent killing of a Hofstra University student as the result of a violent creep breaking-into the female student's off-campus apartment again displays the absurdities of what we can call the ‘liberal agenda’ of the current leadership in states such as New York.  Essentially, the circumstance of the death of the innocent victim as it is currently understood at the time of this writing includes the fact that a violent creep broke-into the female student’s off-campus apartment near the university.  When the police came to the scene to rescue her, they killed the violent creep but also apparently shot and killed the innocent victim as well.  The violent creep reportedly had been only recently released from prison and was currently on parole.

This matter again shows the many fatal flaws of the much subscribed ‘liberal agenda’ across our nation.  By ‘liberal agenda’ and its flaws, I mean that the current ‘liberal’ leadership of states such as New York seem willing to let nearly any violent creep out of prison while concurrently this same ‘liberal’ leadership refuses to allow the decent and law-abiding folks to have and bear firearms to defend themselves from violent attack – attack often brought about by those who should otherwise have been institutionalized if not for the policies of any given dysfunctional leadership in power.

When trouble breaks-out, as it so often seems to do time and time again throughout our states, these same ‘liberal’ leaders expect the populace to merely wait at the mercy of the local police departments – police who generally have no legal duty to protect us at all, it must be noted.  When the police eventually respond, be it quickly or otherwise, there is no guaranty that the innocent will be any safer in the end, as it often turns out.  Regardless of any Constitutional issues, the ‘liberal’ leaders then still prefer to disallow the citizenry any right to defend ourselves by carrying firearms and often deny that the citizenry should be allowed to defend our homes and families with firearms in many cases as well, or so it seems.  And, the ‘liberal’ laws enacted to these ends seem to reflect such an ignorance and appear typically buried in the same psychological denial of the aforementioned lawmakers as well.

//

Well…, what do you say, Mayor Bloomberg?  Should this innocent victim not have been allowed to have a firearm to defend herself (which she did not have, apparently)?  Was she safer without having the ability to defend herself with a firearm?  We can be fairly sure the violent creep probably knew that a female college student on Long Island would not have a defensive handgun in her apartment, given the typically unconstitutional laws against the right to bear arms in many places under the control of the ‘liberal agenda’ such as in places like Long Island and the greater New York City area.  Of course, we know that in New York, even if she did have a gun and shot the creep at first site inside her apartment, the leaders of the ‘liberal agenda’ would have likely charged her with murder in that jurisdiction – given the absurdities and unconstitutional nature of the laws there.  Mayor Bloomberg…, with all due respect, was she better to wait for the police to rescue her similar to the unfortunate souls of the Empire State Building's disgruntled worker creep who killed his former coworker/supervisor; and when the NYC police eventually responded, the NYC police ended up shooting a bunch of innocent bystanders?  (See: Two Dead, Nine Hurt in Empire State Building Shooting,  http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Empire-State-Building-Shooting-167313495.html) (See also:  Bloomberg: Police Should Strike to Protest Gun Ownership by U.S. Civilians, http://adamvernontrotter.blogspot.com/2012/07/bloomberg-police-should-strike-to.html)

Well…, what do you say, President Obama?  Would this innocent victim posthumously vote to not be allowed to have access to a firearm to defend herself?  I did not know her personally of course, but: I doubt it!  However, according to your apparent outlook as I understand it, she was safer without any firearms to defend herself.  Correct?  (See:  The Innocent Victims Deserve a Vote! I agree. But...,  http://adamvernontrotter.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-innocent-victims-deserve-vote-i.html)

I say it’s time to vote out of office any such individuals who run our governments and yet maintain such unrealistic viewpoints as what I describe in this blog entry as the ‘liberal agenda’!  These same politicians who ride around with multitudes of armed guards, police escorts, and drivers in bullet-proof limousines then have the audacity to turn-around and tell the average citizens of the nation that we need no devices such as firearms with which to defend ourselves from the attacks of violent creeps.  Albeit often attack from the same violent creeps that the ‘liberal’ leaders released from the nation’s prisons, as it turns out!  Again, all these absurdities and unconstitutionalities brought about courtesy of our tax dollars, no less!

IN place of the ousted unrealistic politicians, I say we elect politicians who would pass laws that would allow for individuals to continue their Rightful ability to defend oneself from violent attack at anytime and by any means and that WE also elect politicians who would vote for more laws as necessary to ensure that the citizens be allowed the continued lawful ability to defend themselves from any reasonably perceived threat of bodily harm at nearly any given place and with any given means as well – regardless if the perceived threat is to one’s self, one’s family and friends, innocent bystanders, or maybe even from threat to any property as well.

The bottom line appears as: If our dysfunctional governments can not remove these violent creeps from our midst, maybe the alternative is that the time is likely at hand for the decent folks of the nation to do so ourselves.  We can be sure that weaponry will likely be needed to accomplish our goals, unfortunately.

PS.  To the victim Ms. Rebello, her family, and the Hofstra community, I wish to extend apologies in addition to my condolences if the words of this blog entry appear as inappropriate or insensitive to your plight.  Again, Ms. Rebello appears as yet another martyr to the absurdities of our time.  May she rest in peace.

Asking Again, Would They Tell Us…, If…?

May 9th, 2013

Especially given recent trespasses and seemingly on-going daily transgressions, would they tell Us – even if they actually knew?

Personally, I don’t have any idea as to the answer.  That’s why I’m asking.

Big Change on the Way?

April 18th, 2013

In the wake of this latest tragedy, I cant help but to sense that ‘big change’ again is on the way for the nation, maybe.  Let’s hope the powers-that-be remember to include the economic well-being of the populace when they implement the big changes to come – as it seems they failed to remember to do with the big changes implemented of a decade or so ago.

As has been suggested, upon the guilty creep(s) who brought the nation this latest tragedy at the Boston Marathon, let’s hope that the full weight of justice falls heavy, hard, quickly, and soon.

All eyes of the Nation were on Watertown. No doubt. So many of these creeps go down the same way. Hiding like rats. creep dude should have spared us all and went down with his brother.  I trust it's the correct creeps. Good job to the law enforcement folks to catch these creeps so fast. (creep ran over his own brother to get away?)  Let us know if they had any buddies helping them, will ya? Thanks.

Pruning the Death Off the Trees.

April 10th, 2013

The tree worker guys were pruning/trimming the dead portions at the end of the branches on the tree outside one of the gates to the complex today.  I have been watching the deadness of that tree slowly spreading from the end of the branches inward towards the trunk of the tree for a couple of few years now.  After trimming the deadness off the tree, which I believe is a Australian willow tree, there is not much left of it.

I’m concerned that the tree may never grow back and the death is merely spreading inward.  Because there are remaining branches that were not pruned with leaves that look to be dying as did the other branches before they went bare.  I’m more concerned that I see the same death pattern on many types of trees throughout the nation.  And I’m even more concerned that so few seem to be noticing the dying trees and the governments and the media sources have said nothing about the matter either.  Ultimately disconcerting as well is that when the death pattern spreading throughout the trees becomes more noticeable, the local governments apparently pay someone to come and trim the tree back and the death apparently spreading through the tree is removed as it to keep it from our view. And  what kind of sends me over the  top is that I fear that my previously blogged hypothesis could actually becoming to fruition (see the link below about the burning of ethanol fuels and trees).

But, maybe I don’t give the local governments enough credit though and they are merely expending the capital to prune the trees to make the sidewalk safer – in spite of the current trends of cities to be short on revenues, or so we are told.  And, maybe it was merely a parasite attacking the tree or something, as the maples on either side of this tree appear healthy and fine - but I have never seen any signs of any parasites on this tree before.

But again, given my previously stated hypothesis in the matter (see link below), the continuation of dying trees with such a similar pattern of distress displayed in the trees beforehand and with no word from any official sources on the issue have again fueled my grave concerns regarding the trees and the possible influence of the burning of ethanol/alcohol based fuels.

I would take another photo of the likely dying tree for the sake of argument and posterity, as I have many a photo of trees dying in apparently the same fashion from around the nation.  However, I find the whole matter to be overly depressing and even sickening, especially if my hypothesis and fears were even slightly on target in the matter.  And I dont want to see another photo of it all.

Reigning in Banks and Crazed Gun-Men, “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

April 7th, 2013

Today on “This Week w/George S.” a member of his gang could be heard to ask “…why the Democrats have done nothing to reign in the banks and Wall Street excesses?”  None had an answer and all of them seemed flabbergasted with the reality of it all.

If I may, I would put forth that some combination of two most likely answers might reflect the reality of it all.  First, the Democrat party leaders seem to be on the same side as the banks and Wall Street, just as most of the mainstream seems to attribute only to the Republican leadership.  And, secondly, the modern Democratic leaders seem to prefer to blame everything on the Bush Administration even though such [likely failed] non-policies of the prior administration might be as much as a decade old – blame and excuses which then appear acceptable to their constituents because many of the constituents seem content to allow the Democrats to offer nothing but excuses, apparently.

//

The prior matter was all that I originally wanted to address with this blog, but interestingly enough, I believe it was George S. himself at the very end of the show that spoke of a study out this week which suggested the best conduct for anyone who is part of a crowd when confronted with a crazed homicidal gun-man.  George said that the study suggested that the folks in a crowd would be best to run-away from any crazed homicidal gun-man.  Well…, duh!   And the study also may have suggested that folks in the crowd attempt to show resistance or fight back.

Of course this begs the question, what do you do when you can’t merely run-away from a gun-man?  Obviously, from what was said on the show today, even this study seemed to suggest that an individual try to defend themselves somehow.  One can only wonder how one might adequately accomplish such a defense or what would one use to defend themselves against a homicidal maniac shooting at everyone – if the current administration and Mayor Bloomberg have their way.  Might the researchers suggest that folks throw buttered popcorn at the homicidal creep/gun-man?  And if the trend continues which has been promoted by folks like the current presidential administration and Mayor Bloomberg, that’s likely all a law-abiding citizen will ever have to defend themselves with as well.  Because it seems the currently promoted trend is to make it illegal for law-abiding Americans to even own any guns – regardless of the reasons for owning the gun.  What's more ironic, is that these same politicians and individuals who seek to curtail or eliminate private gun ownership most likely never go anywhere without an armed guard - or dozens of them.

I suppose maybe I’ll have to try to review the show in its entirety and to find and read the study to see what is actually in it, no doubt.
